Baekhyeon-dong pasta restaurant with a full weekend terrace: Andover

This weekend, I went out for brunch on the Baekhyeon-dong café street in Pangyo to soak up the weekend mood~ I had such a delicious meal there last time that I'm back with a revisit review of 'Andover'!

Every dish was delicious and the vibe of the place was so good that it felt like I was on a little getaway, totally healing~ When I first visited, the place had only just opened, but now word seems to have spread because it was packed with customers 🫢 So let's get into this review of 'Andover,' the brunch spot to know in Baekhyeon-dong~!

Andover is a Western-style brunch restaurant at 10-7 Pangyoyeok-ro 10beon-gil, Bundang-gu, Seongnam, Gyeonggi, on the Baekhyeon-dong café street. It's closed Mondays, and open Tuesday through Sunday from 11:30 to 22:00.

For parking, the 'Baekhyeon-dong café street public parking lot,' a 1-minute walk from the restaurant, gives you 1 hour free~ You can also park in front of the restaurant or in the alleys if there's space!

Andover's terrace was already full on a weekend afternoon

On the weekend afternoon we arrived, the Andover terrace seats were already completely full. Maybe it's because the weather was so nice, but the terrace was packed! I think this might just be the perfect weather to eat on a terrace~ haha

The inside of the restaurant was also spacious and beautifully decorated, like a little getaway or overseas trip!

There were group tables where several people could eat together

and I also spotted several tables for two~

In one corner of Andover, there was a little display of goods for sale like aprons and mugs~

They also have meal kit ingredients ready so you can enjoy Andover's dishes at home~

Once we sat down, they brought us cold ice water and tableware~ On this Andover revisit, we ordered three things: clam risotto, anchovy pasta, and meatball tomato pasta.

A little over 10 minutes later, all three dishes came out at once~

They give you a plate of pickles per person, and they were so good I kept asking for refills haha

Clam risotto, 23,000 won

The dish I was most curious about, the 'clam risotto' — made with a shrimp bisque sauce, there's no way it wasn't going to be delicious for someone like me who loves those rich, briny flavors!

With clams on top, eating it together with the clams really brings out a rich seafood flavor in the risotto

It's a thick, creamy risotto but light enough that I kept going back for more 😆

Anchovy pasta, 21,000 won

This was my first time trying anchovy pasta~ I ordered it out of curiosity because someone in a blog review said they enjoyed it so much haha

Since it was completely new to me, it was a bit unfamiliar, but the umami was great~ It wasn't fishy at all, and since it's an oil-based pasta, it actually felt clean and light!

Meatball tomato pasta, 23,000 won

Tomato pasta, which my husband loves haha

Honestly I don't like tomatoes, so I usually don't even touch anything with tomato in it haha

Curious whether my tastes had changed lately, I took a bite — and why is this so good??

There are even meatballs in it, which is such a nice touch — is tomato pasta supposed to be this delicious?? I'm just finding out after 30-something years haha

Light but pleasantly tangy, with great umami too! I took a bite with zero expectations and it ended up being the tastiest dish of the meal haha

Who will enjoy Andover in Pangyo?
