What kind of place is Eolkeuni Gamjatang Samgyeopsal Bupyeong Station Branch?

This time I visited Eolkeuni Gamjatang Samgyeopsal Bupyeong Station Branch. It's a new spot that officially opened on August 7.

It's an easy walk from Bupyeong Station. Eolkeuni Gamjatang Samgyeopsal Bupyeong Station Branch is open 24 hours, and the name says it all — if you're craving both spicy gamjatang and golden-brown grilled pork belly, this is a place where you can enjoy both!

Eolkeuni Gamjatang Samgyeopsal Bupyeong Station Branch also has direct-fire grilled bones, stone-pot bone stew, and eolgamsam sets, but this time I just came for a simple pork belly and drink~!

The wait can get long, so they've set up chairs out front for that. Gamjatang comes automatically when you order meat~

Inside the restaurant: 48 seats and 24-hour service

The interior of Eolkeuni Gamjatang Samgyeopsal Bupyeong Station Branch was spacious and clean. Each table has its own drink fridge, so you can just help yourself. Since it's newly opened, there was no grease buildup and everything felt really fresh and clean~!

The interior design is really nice and there are plenty of seats, so it's a great space for large groups too~! These days it's harder than you'd think to find a restaurant open late, so being able to drop by any time of day is a pretty big plus~!

What's on the menu, and what's at the self-serve bar?

The menu was well organized with a wide variety of options. For grilled dishes there's an eolgamsam set sized by headcount, and you can add on à la carte items — gamjatang, and for bone dishes there's stone-pot bone stew and direct-fire grilled bones in various sizes. There were also tons of side dishes and rice menu items — pretty much something for everyone, so you could wrap up a whole meal right here at Eolkeuni Gamjatang~

The self-serve bar corner had small plates, dishes, chopsticks, and even instant noodles. Wouldn't that be great tossed into the gamjatang later?

Ordering the meat set for three with gamjatang and minari shrimp pancake

You can order easily from the tablet at each table~! We started with the meat set for 3, gamjatang, and minari shrimp pancake (swappable), planning to add more later if we ran out~!

First they set the griddle down and we waited for it to heat up — they oiled the griddle and heated it properly over the flame.

The gamjatang that comes with the set

The gamjatang was brought out right away too~ This spicy gamjatang wasn't your average cheap version — it had real bones and a deep, rich broth, genuinely delicious~ We waited for it to boil, then once it was bubbling they turned off the burner and portioned it out for us~!

Grilling the beef brisket and pork belly

Once the griddle was hot, we put on bean sprouts, scallion shreds, and kimchi, then added the meat and started grilling~!

Chadolbaegi cooks fast, so you can start eating quickly~!

We dipped the freshly cooked pieces in salt, and also in the house special sauce — both were really delicious ways to enjoy it~!

Once the pork belly was cooked, they cut it into bite-sized pieces and grilled it through to the center~! The meat quality was great too, so it was genuinely delicious~!

How do gamjatang and pork belly work together?

A must-visit for gamjatang in Bupyeong — the broth was refreshing and delicious. The spiciness cut right through the richness of the pork belly, just the right balance~! This combination worked really well~ Being able to enjoy such variety from a menu that isn't limited to just one or two dishes was genuinely great!

There's also cold pork belly, and with a sprinkle of pepper on top it made for a proper, satisfying meal of pork belly~! Fresh ingredients and generous portions of meat that don't skimp — it was exactly the kind of place for a hearty meal and a fun drink~!
