Gamjatang for two with self-serve kimchi bar, Bupyeong: Eolkeuni

In short

Eolkeuni Gamjatang Samgyeopsal Bupyeong Station Branch is a 24-hour pork bone soup and pork belly restaurant near Bupyeong Station in Incheon. Two of us ordered a small gamjatang for ₩33,000 and added two bowls of rice, coming to ₩17,000 per person, and the self-serve kimchi bar and soft, odor-free meat stood out. This is a place I'd revisit 100% for a work dinner or a late-night meal.

Today's post is about Eolkeuni Gamjatang Samgyeopsal Bupyeong Station Branch, a gamjatang (pork bone soup) spot near Bupyeong Station — my recommendation for a work dinner or drinks spot around Bupyeong Station.

Location: 5 Gyeongwon-daero 1403beon-gil, Bupyeong-gu, Incheon, 1st floor Hours: Open 24 hours daily, no closed days

My first visit, and it was genuinely delicious

  • This is the best work dinner spot near Bupyeong Station — because it's open 24 hours (so many places close early these days ㅠㅇㅠ)
  • Free gamjatang when you order meat
  • And above all... the main gamjatang is really, really good
  • Plus a wild discount from the receipt review event

Definitely worth reading haha

The vibe and seating

The restaurant is spacious and the table seating was comfortable. Maybe because it's newly opened, the tables were nice and clean too. * I recommend ordering via table order * * The owner is very kind *

  • Meat sets
  • Bone jjim (steamed) / bone gui (grilled)
  • Lunch-friendly menus — yukhoe bibimbap / bone haejangguk / king pork cutlet

There's a nice variety to choose from!!

* Bone haejangguk, jeyuk deopbap and yeolmu bibimbap are all ₩10,000, so I'd recommend this for a budget-friendly lunch near Bupyeong Station. You can sort out lunch for around ₩10,000 haha

Small gamjatang for two — how much per person?

Haminggu's pick

  • Gamjatang small: ₩33,000
  • Rice bowl: ₩1,000 x 2
  • Total: ₩35,000

A place where two people can enjoy a generous gamjatang plus rice for ₩17,000 each haha. The small size has a lot of volume, so I think it'd work well for one guy and one girl to order the small size together hahaha

Small-size gamjatang packed with meat and siraegi

You can tell at a glance — meat, siraegi (dried radish greens), mushrooms, perilla leaves — no skimping on ingredients~

What I liked was that it comes already partly cooked so you can eat right away!! Though personally I think waiting about 5 minutes lets the meat get properly hot too haha. Perfect for meeting my sister right after her work for a quick dinner together ~ Reserving through Naver or by phone would probably let you eat even faster.

How much is the small size, really?

Even the small size doesn't feel skimpy at all. Three women could probably share one small portion. And the meat inside — honestly haha — out of all the gamjatang meat I've had, this was the softest with the most lean meat, and I loved that.

A piece of gamjatang meat with plenty of lean meat
Full spread of gamjatang served with a bowl of rice

Seriously a rice thief ^*^

  • Definitely add a bowl of rice
  • The broth seems like it'd be amazing with extra noodles added too haha

+ On top of that, I'm someone who eats a lot of plain rice, and the rice bowl portion passed with flying colors ^&^

Dipping sauce and side dishes for the meat

The dipping sauce served alongside was cleaner-tasting than at other places, and the main gamjatang meat had no odd smell at all — soft, moist meat that I really liked!!

Rice mixed into the gamjatang broth

My sister, who's a total gamjatang lover, also praised the meat and broth as delicious! I definitely recommend adding a bowl of rice and mixing it into the broth.

Haminggu's wrap-up

  • The owner is kind
  • I'd recommend this newly opened spot
  • Great portion and taste for the price
  • So nice that it's open 24 hours near Bupyeong Station
  • Recommended as a work dinner spot in Bupyeong — order meat and you get gamjatang for an even more generous meal. Pork belly is also sold separately haha, I recommend calling ahead to reserve
  • 100% revisit — because the gamjatang was genuinely delicious. Clean, appropriately rich, and a flavor you keep thinking about
  • I'll definitely be back to eat here again hahahaha
