These days our travel itinerary is basically built entirely around our kid, so we'd already cleared a kids' café that morning and were racking our brains over lunch. Our kid said she wanted pizza, so while looking for a good pizza place I discovered that Furg Pizza — a place I'd personally been dying to try — was right nearby!!!!! So we headed straight over.

There are 3 reasons Furg Pizza in Yonghyeon-dong stands out even more: the secret is 36 hours of fermentation for a chewy bagel dough made with sweet rice and milk, producing a bakery-style pizza that's chewy yet soft, delicious all the way to the crust edge!! There's also seating inside if you want to eat in-house.

A premium handmade pizza where every single ingredient follows a special recipe — Furg Pizza in Yonghyeon-dong has unique, distinctive menu items unlike anything I'd tried before. Apparently their whole-cheese milk crust is a top-tier 14mm crust with the deep flavor of whole cheese and the soft taste of milk!!
The moment I saw it, the topping amount was on a totally different level from regular pizza — the cheese was so much you'd think we'd paid for extra cheese... haha I was genuinely surprised by how generous the cheese portion was haha

We got to try a classic combination that stays true to the basics, and while it's delicious plain, dipping it in the sauce is great too~
Deutsch Wedge Potato pizza at Furg Pizza
#DeutschWedgePotatoPizza — crispy-outside, soft-inside breadcrumb-coated wedge potatoes come together with juicy authentic smoked sausage, bacon chips, and yogurt sauce for a crispy, savory pizza.
They sprinkle on cheese powder and hot sauce too~~~ When even the crust edge is delicious, that pretty much says it all... haha
Pickles kept refreshing the palate in between bites, and of course you can't have pizza without a soda ><

They thoughtfully packed up our leftover pizza for us too haha. I'd recommend the XR size menu at Furg Pizza in Yonghyeon-dong if you want to enjoy pizza that feels like a proper dish — thumbs up, good good ෆ
