Incheon tuna restaurant ₩38,000 royal course: Donggyeong Sukseong
In short
Donggyeong Sukseong Chamchi is an aged tuna all-you-can-eat restaurant in Yongyeon-dong, Michuhol-gu, Incheon. Booking ahead for a weekday evening, two diners ordered the royal course (₩38,000 per person) and worked through four rounds of cuts, from head meat to belly, then finished with corn cheese, udon, braised and grilled dishes, tuna soup, fried bites and albap (rice with fish roe). With no fishy taste and plenty of umami, Donggyeong Sukseong Chamchi is a solid pick if you want aged tuna at a fair price.

What comes with the ₩38,000 royal course

We had a reservation. Ordered the royal course at ₩38,000 per person for two.

They start you off with grated yam juice, and honestly this Yongyeon-dong tuna spot's yam juice was delicious from the very first sip! Sweet and good~~

The side dishes came out too — salad, mochi tofu, and more, all solid picks. Totally got my appetite going haha

This Yongyeon-dong, Incheon tuna spot had a well-stocked lineup of accompaniments too — ginger, pickled radish, flying fish roe, aged kimchi. Seaweed was piled high at every table haha

Right after finishing the basic sides, the tuna arrived!
First round: this quality for this price

The very first round already looked insane~ Exactly what you'd expect from a Yongyeon-dong, Incheon tuna spot — the condition was excellent!
They said they use a special aging method, and it showed — thawed perfectly, zero fishy taste, incredible umami! For ₩38,000 per person on the royal course, I was honestly shocked at this level of quality!~ If you're after value in a Yongyeon-dong Incheon tuna spot, you have to try Donggyeong Sukseong Chamchi 😆

While we were still eating the first round, they brought out corn cheese, udon, and ginkgo nuts. Plenty of diners at this Yongyeon-dong, Incheon tuna spot were pairing it with drinks, and I totally get it haha. The basic side spread is so good lol. And every single item tasted great too!~
Second round: head meat and belly cuts

Round two already! Head meat and belly this time. Every time a new round came out, they explained which cut it was and whether it went better with soy sauce or sesame oil, which was a nice touch! Every cut had amazing umami with zero fishy taste~! This Yongyeon-dong, Incheon tuna spot's aged tuna is on another level!!

The belly was incredible too. Slightly chewy yet melting at the same time, so good. A lot of people say tuna is fishy or greasy, but Donggyeong Sukseong Chamchi, being a proper Yongyeon-dong, Incheon tuna spot, doesn't get old — so delicious!! You could really taste how skilled they are at aging.

The head meat was also excellent. Some places make specialty cuts taste fishy, but this Incheon, Yongyeon-dong tuna spot has zero fishy taste! A true aged tuna restaurant.
Third round, plus braised, grilled, soup and fried sides

Third round already! Tuna can get heavy and greasy, but thanks to this Incheon, Yongyeon-dong tuna spot's special aging method, it just kept going down easy 😆

They brought out braised, grilled, soup, and fried dishes too. Every single side was delicious as well!~

Can you tell how good the aged tuna is just from the photo? Soft, melts in your mouth, so delicious.
Fourth round and finishing with albap

Round four already. Even this many rounds in, it kept tasting great.

Some cuts were chewy, others soft, so the texture varied by cut and the flavor was outstanding across the board. Best of all, being aged tuna, it just melted softly — loved it!

We were eating so happily they gave us a bit more lol. Way too full at this point, so we finished up with albap (rice mixed with fish roe).

The albap had a nice crispy nurungji (scorched rice) crust too, so good haha. Every single dish, from mains to sides, was delicious at this Yongyeon-dong, Incheon tuna spot Donggyeong Sukseong Chamchi! If you're looking for a Yongyeon-dong, Incheon tuna spot, go check it out~~~
