Family dinner Korean BBQ near Cheongju Technopolis: Baeksan Hwarro
In short
Baeksan Hwarro Techno Polis Songjeol Branch is a charcoal Korean BBQ restaurant in the Songjeol-dong restaurant row near Cheongju Technopolis. Visiting on a Saturday evening with a kid, the writer grilled aged pork belly and aged pork neck at 200g per serving, then finished with barley kimchi fried rice, helped by a baby chair and dedicated parking. Between the two cuts, the aged pork belly won out for its rich, fatty flavor.

Looking for a place to eat dinner with my kid near Cheongju Technopolis, I ended up at Baeksan Hwarro. I heard that staff used to grill the meat for you, but now you grill it yourself — and in exchange, the portions got bigger. I was curious whether grilling it myself would actually be worth it, so I went to check it out.
