Daegu Italian restaurant with quattro formaggi pizza: Resting07

It’s D-day minus 3 until the birth >< I’m so, so curious—will the baby look more like Mom or Dad? Haha. The baby was a little small at first, but I’ve been eating well lately, so I think they’re growing much more than I expected, haha. Today I was craving sweet pizza again too, you know? Haha. So I had a lunch date with Tiger Husband at Resting07 (레스팅07), a place in Dongseong-ro I’d had my eye on 💕

Resting07 in Dongseong-ro: location and visitor information

It’s on the second floor, a one-minute walk from the Spark Land Ferris wheel building in Dongseong-ro, on the way to 2.28 Memorial Central Park. There’s no dedicated parking, so please use a nearby paid lot ^^ If you book through Naver, there’s a birthday-event coupon, and with a Naver receipt review you can choose a mini salad, corn cheese, or a soft drink.

Lunch date in a private room

The restaurant is fairly spacious, with three rooms where you can dine privately, hehe. The interior is clean in white and wood tones, and the view from the windows is lovely too, but today Tiger Husband and I had lunch in a room, haha. With both rooms and tables available, it’s just right for a Dongseong-ro blind date or gathering >< They have wine too, so having a glass with Italian food sounds soooo nice, haha 🍷🍷

How generous is the grilled chicken salad?

🥗 The grilled chicken salad (₩8,700) comes with grilled boneless chicken, grilled mushrooms, fresh tomatoes, and aioli sauce ^^ It was more generous than I expected, and they give you big pieces of chicken—lots of them too ;; Tiger Husband was surprised by the portion too, saying, “They give you this much meat??” He said he nearly burst, haha. And it was sooo delicious ^^* Our order combination was perfect 👍👍

Pilaf packed with pork neck and ingredients

🍳 For pilaf (₩13,700), there are five kinds: pork neck, gamberi, chicken, hot chicken, and whole-bacon chicken kimchi pilaf ^^* I debated between whole-bacon kimchi and pork neck, then went with pork neck, haha. It was loaded with onions, garlic, mushrooms, and of course plenty of pork neck too, hehe. Naturally it was delicious with all those ingredients ^^* They really don’t hold back on the ingredients, so it was truly tasty 😋

Quattro formaggi pizza dipped in honey

🧀 The quattro formaggi pizza (₩17,700) was today’s main event: a pizza with four cheeses. As soon as it arrived, I dipped a slice in honey and took a bite... it was sooo delicious, you know....!!!! It felt like gorgonzola pizza with even more kinds of cheese added, and the soft ricotta on top made it warm, rich, and incredibly good ^^* If I could have had wine, it really... would have been even better 🍷🍷 haha

🥤 Wash it down with a cold cider and it just keeps disappearing—magic, haha. Overall, the portions are really~ huge, hehe. Tiger Husband liked it too because it tasted even better than he expected ><
