Daily Fix is a burger restaurant just a 2-minute walk from Exit 2 of Seoul National University Entrance Station, a short stroll across from the Gwanak-gu Office. I've been eating an unusual amount of burgers this year, and honestly, handmade beats franchise every time, right?! On an evening when I was craving a handmade burger, I called up some friends and finally visited Daily Fix, a place I'd been wanting to try. I'd heard even celebrities raved about it, so I was so curious 🫢

Inside Daily Fix: open kitchen and sofa seating
The moment you walk into Daily Fix, you can see the open kitchen right away, which made me trust the place immediately 👍
The sofa seating at Daily Fix was so comfortable! With mustard-colored and wood-tone interior, the whole place felt cozy.
The Daily Fix menu: kiosk ordering and sides
At Daily Fix, you can order straight from a kiosk at your table, which was convenient — payment happens right there too! There were 7 kinds of burgers. What stood out was the surprisingly wide range of side dishes: there was fried eggplant, and their '18fries' turned out to be Belgian potatoes sliced 18mm thick and fried, giving fries that were thick yet moist. There were also two kinds of chicken sides on top of that.
We ordered the truffle mushroom burger, the Hawaiian BBQ burger, and the bacon cheeseburger, plus chili cheese fries as a side.
Hawaiian BBQ burger: pineapple and thick-cut bacon
First, the one I ordered myself: the Hawaiian BBQ burger! It had pineapple, bacon, and cheese tucked inside. The visuals were crazy, and it tasted just as good as it looked — I was genuinely moved...
The meat's juices burst out and mingled with the pineapple juice, and it was so delicious. The bacon in particular was thick, so it had great flavor and a great chewy texture too! If you're a pineapple pizza person, you'd really love this, and if you like pineapple in general, this is a flavor you'd really enjoy. Honestly I don't like eating pineapple on its own, but when it's folded into food like this, I end up loving it!
Truffle mushroom burger: truffle mayo is the kick
Next was my friend's order, the truffle mushroom burger! The texture of the mushrooms, the juiciness of the meat, and the truffle aroma came together really well. The truffle mayo especially was the kick! There was truffle filling too, which made the aroma feel even stronger.
Bacon cheeseburger: thick patty, pillowy bun
The bacon cheeseburger was the same story — the patty was thick and the bacon was thick, so the texture was great, and the cheese and sauce went so well together. The bun was really fluffy too, which made it even more delicious.
Drink refills and chili cheese fries at Daily Fix
The drinks at Daily Fix were ₩2,900, and they were refillable! We had so much food that we didn't end up getting refills, but if you love drinking beverages while you eat, definitely refill!
The chili cheese fries came piled with so much cheese and so much meat that my mouth was watering the second I saw it!! With all that melted cheddar cheese loaded on top, the visual was overwhelming. And just like the visual, the taste was excellent too — one bite, two bites, and I was completely hooked! I was curious about the fried eggplant but went with the chili cheese fries instead since eggplant can be hit or miss, and it was a choice I didn't regret. Next time I want to try the fried eggplant too!
The chili sauce with ground meat mixed with the cheese gave a salty yet savory flavor that was so good, and the portion was generous enough to easily share among friends.
Good for sharing with friends, and for eating alone too
Even though today was a last-minute gathering of friends at Daily Fix, everyone left satisfied and I had such a good meal too — it was such a great time. It's good for solo dining as well, so if you're stuck on what to have for lunch, I recommend it!
