Getting there from Gangnam Station

The shop being so close to Gangnam Station and a bus stop was such a plus!!

Just walk into this commercial building and head down to the basement.

There's a separate staircase right at the building entrance that leads straight down to the basement. I saw a rainbow going down these stairs (🌈🌈 what a mood booster haha)

Go down the stairs, open the door, and the shop is basically right there haha. They do lashes and face waxing together!

It's a shop-in-shop, so it's paired with a brow studio! (Fun fact)

and going through this door leads to Geumson Unnisseu, the lash and waxing studio.

This is the waiting area outside!! Everything from here down is inside Geumson Unnisseu itself!!! The treatment bed was set up there, and the space was cozy and clean, so I felt comfortable the whole time~!

A one-woman studio run by a 16-year veteran

Geumson Unnisseu is a one-woman lash studio in Gangnam/Seocho run by an owner with 16 years in the beauty industry!!!

• Opened in November 2017
• 9 years running in the same spot
• No price increase since opening
• Over 80% of customers are regulars
• The owner personally handles consultation, design, and treatment

That gave me even more confidence to just trust her with it!! She looked at my eyes and just knew exactly what to do haha. I could totally see why she's stayed in one spot for so long!

The lash lift process and results

This is my eye before the treatment. It had been a while since my last lash lift, so everything was tangled and a mess haha (mascara was such a struggle because of it haha)

The treatment took about 50 minutes!! From the moment I walked in she was so welcoming, and the owner was genuinely fun to talk to, so I ended up chatting the whole time and it was over before I knew it... haha. I'm kind of sensitive about people touching around my eyes, but her touch was really gentle, so there was no discomfort or stinging at all, I could just relax!

About 50 minutes later....! I was so busy chatting with her I really didn't notice the time pass... haha

Here are my lashes after the treatment (front and side shots). So pretty ㅠ Even from the side you can see the C-curl lifted up perfectly🩷 Highly recommend this lash lift.

That day I only put on the tinted lash serum, and my lashes looked so clear and the curl came out so pretty that it photographed really well too!

What I loved most about the result was that it didn't just look like my lashes were yanked up — each lash was lifted individually with the texture still intact!! No clumping or bent sections between lashes, everything lined up evenly all the way to the tips, and you could just tell from looking at it how experienced her hands are... haha

Just from one lash lift, my eyes look so much more defined even bare-faced, and I don't have to use an eyelash curler when doing makeup anymore, which is so convenient haha. And I prefer a style where the curl stays soft and pretty rather than sharply bent, so this came out exactly how I wanted it — super satisfied..♡

With a lash lift, how carefully each individual lash is lifted really makes all the difference.

She was so kind and her touch was so gentle, it was really lovely haha. If you're tired of using an eyelash curler,, once you try a lash lift you really can't go back... haha

Existing membership

The old membership product is no longer sold — only existing members can keep their existing benefits by renewing.

• Extra ₩5,000 off each new treatment (retouch discounts excluded)
• No deposit needed to book
• Existing benefits continue upon renewal

If the membership balance drops to ₩20,000 or below and isn't renewed, the old membership ends, and since it's no longer sold, you can't sign up for it again.

Geumson Unnisseu has run for 9 years since opening in 2017 without raising treatment prices. As running costs kept climbing, instead of raising prices, they adjusted some of the membership benefits ㅠㅠ!!
