as written by the visitor on Sep 7, 2026

Hi everyone :) I've been wearing sandals all summer, so I've kept getting pedicures done. Fall is slowly creeping in and my old pedicure was due for a change anyway, so this time I wanted to try a calmer color.
Today I'm bringing a story about getting a pedicure at Byuazeu Nail, a nail shop I found near Hongdae!

Byuazeu Nail is a 5-minute walk from Hongik University Station, and if you follow the stairs up the building you'll find the shop — the clean white exterior made it easy to spot!

The vibe and drinks inside
The interior was bright and clean overall too, and there was a fridge on one side stocked with water and drinks. I liked that I could help myself freely during the treatment — these little details make a difference :)

It's a beauty shop where you can get several treatments in one place, so besides nails, you can also get lashes and skin/body care done here.

Foot soak before the pedicure
Before getting into the actual pedicure, I got to do a foot soak first. Dipping my feet in warm water felt like a nice little break before the treatment 👍

The art board and swapping the color for September's monthly art
Looking at the art board, there were so many designs — from daily-friendly colors like white, beige, and pink, to glitter, magnetic nails, gradients, and even flashy designs with ribbons, hearts, and chunky parts. There was something for every style 🤍
So, so cute art designs...
I picked one of September's monthly designs this time. Instead of keeping the original color, I mentioned I usually like green-blue tones, and they kept the design but changed just the color to match my taste. I liked that the monthly art doesn't have to stay in its set color — you can adjust it to whatever mood you want.

The finished autumn pedicure
Ta-da, the finished pedicure :) I put a design with a subtle silver shimmer on my big toes and matched the rest to a calm green-blue tone I love. The color looked slightly different depending on the light, so even though it's a single color, it didn't feel plain — it had this mysterious, pretty quality. If I did a bright sky-blue pedicure in summer, this time I toned it down a bit for something easy to wear into September, and it suited me well overall with that calm feel.
Best of all, my technician's hands were really fast, so the treatment finished sooner than I expected — but even working quickly, she was meticulous about the care and the color, which I appreciated. There was a fun variety of art to choose from, and getting to relax with a foot soak from the start made it satisfying overall. If you're looking for a place to get your nails or pedicure done in Hongdae, I'd recommend it~~!
