Whenever I'm craving a burger, this is the place I think of: bd Burger Seongsu Station Yeonmujang-gil Lunch & Dinner, a Seongsu burger spot. Let me share the menu picks and my visit!

How to walk to bd Burger Seongsu from Seongsu Station, and is there parking?

It took about 10 minutes on foot from Seongsu Station? But honestly that's because I was weaving through crowds — if you cut through the alley quickly it probably wouldn't take a full 10 minutes haha. Parking doesn't seem possible, so if you're driving I'd recommend using a nearby public parking lot. But I'll say it again: in this neighborhood you're really better off on foot. Too many cars, too many people — bring a car and you're asking for a headache.

Anyway, I made it there fine on foot! It was a weekday evening and I was able to walk in smoothly with no wait, hehe.

You head up to the second floor. On the way up there were tons of stylish posters — I kind of wanted to peel a few off and hang them at home lol (just kidding).

bd Burger Seongsu Station Yeonmujang-gil Lunch & Dinner has quite a few branches around, so if one were near my home or office I'd probably be checking in every day! Especially if it were near work — I'd go for solo lunch all the time. So sad it's not, ugh.

Inside bd Burger's 2nd floor: the self-serve bar and whether solo diners fit in

The self-serve bar at bd Burger Seongsu has napkins and wet wipes set out, and even on a weekday evening the tables were nearly full inside. Cute little self-serve bar haha — even the napkins and wet wipes have the bd Burger logo on them. I'm a bit fussy so wet wipes and napkins are essential when eating a burger, especially a handmade one, so I stocked up.

The interior has this kind of vibe. There wasn't a wait, but the tables were nearly full so I didn't get to take many photos of the space. That said, it looked plenty comfortable for eating solo (there were actually quite a few solo diners there too).

Once you settle in, you order right at the table. I put in a set order for two.

After ordering and waiting a bit, staff brought everything right to our table, which was really convenient! The portions were huge, but hey, we could finish it, right...?

The visuals were absolutely insane. I posted it on Instagram and got a ton of DMs asking where this was — felt pretty proud.

Double cheese burger vs. wasabi shrimp burger at bd Burger Seongsu

At bd Burger Seongsu, I'd recommend splitting the double cheese burger and the wasabi shrimp burger in half. We decided to share the shrimp wasabi burger and the double cheese burger nicely between us. If you only try one, it'd be such a shame.

First up, my all-time favorite: the double cheese burger. Rich melty cheese, juicy patty with amazing meat flavor, and onions that cut through the richness. Honestly I think this one is universally likable, no strong preferences involved, so I'd recommend it to anyone.

And what feels like bd Burger's signature identity — the wasabi shrimp burger.

The size is a bit intense — for my small appetite it was almost a lot to handle haha. The plump shrimp patty pairs so well with the salad tossed in wasabi sauce. Personally, alternating bites with the double cheese burger created amazing synergy. I'd recommend going with a friend and sharing.

The sides: fries, corn salad and chipotle eggplant fritters

For sides at bd Burger Seongsu, we ordered a good mix: original fries, corn salad, and eggplant fries (fritters). The fries were, of course, delicious.

You should order one corn salad per person and dig in haha. But even one wasn't enough for me, so I ended up stealing all of my friend's corn salad too.

And the eggplant fries — a must-order.

Dipped generously in the chipotle sauce, it's pure bliss. Even people who don't like eggplant would definitely enjoy this.
