Apgujeong nail salon: 40-minute magnetic gel one-color, Naeil Didi

It's been about three months since my last nail appointment! My nails are naturally on the thin side, and getting nails done regularly just made them snap and break like crazy ㅠㅠ So I took a whopping three-month break, and this month I finally decided it was time. Since it had been so long, I was debating what design or color to try, and realized I'd never done a magnetic gel one-color before — so I figured, why not this time.

While searching for a nail salon with good longevity, I found that Naeil Didi near Apgujeong Rodeo was pretty famous, so I went to check it out. They had so many magnetic gel colors and types (I thought magnetic gel was just one thing, but turns out there are pearl versions and so many more..?), the view was great, and the color I picked was so pretty > < Let me show you in this post.

Where is Naeil Didi and what are its hours?

Naeil Didi is located at 6th Floor, Unit 601, 18 Apgujeong-ro 50-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Open daily from 11:00 to 21:00, with paid parking available and pets welcome.

I followed the map and arrived. It's about a 5-minute walk from Apgujeong Rodeo Station — felt like it's been a while since I came to Aproh (haha), and it put me in a good mood being back after so long.

Naeil Didi is above ground level, so the view was great. There's a separate space for comfortable pedicures and a separate space for manicures :)

This time I decided on a magnetic gel one-color. While browsing the colors, I settled on Nunnu's color No. 1, circled in the photo. The pearl in Nunnu's magnetic gel line sparkles like it's been sprinkled with jewel dust — so pretty. The nail artist told me No. 1 is genuinely their most popular color > < Everyone take note ✨

I came in a rush and hadn't even taken off my old nail polish, so my nails looked pretty rough ㅠ Let's get this glow-up started!!

Short round shape and cuticle care on thin nails

My nails grow pretty fast, so I asked for a short round shape. She checked the overall length of each nail carefully, examining every angle as she shaped them!

Then came the cuticle removal — if you've seen my other nail salon reviews, you'll know my cuticles are really, really weak. Out of five salon visits, three or four usually end with blood and scratches. But at Naeil Didi, my cuticles were cleaned up perfectly with no damage at all. If you have weak cuticles too, I think Naeil Didi would work well for you. For a magnetic gel one-color with good longevity in Apgujeong Rodeo, I'd definitely recommend Naeil Didi!!

Here's the finished shot of the magnetic gel one-color — since I had no existing gel to remove, it took about 40-50 minutes. If you need gel removal, it'll probably take a bit longer. The color is so pretty, right..?!! Magnetic gel really looks best in person, ㅠ it's a shame the camera can't fully capture it..💖 With the view, the price, and how kind everyone was, this visit to Naeil Didi in Apgujeong Rodeo left me in a great mood.

At Naeil Didi, they apply a nutrient treatment before the nail service, which apparently helps the color last longer. Looking at other reviews, everyone praised the longevity too. I think it'll easily last over a month > <
