Where is Nani Byeolgwan Yeongdeungpo Branch? A tiled-roof house across from Times Square

Location: 183 Munnae-ro, 1st floor, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. It's right across from Times Square, so it's super easy to get to.

It's a pretty tiled-roof house. The interior is clean overall, and the tables are spaced just right, making it comfortable to chat while eating. The soft lighting makes the mood cozy, which makes it feel even prettier.

The interior really impressed me. It was so pretty. And it turns out there's a second floor too — I wanted to check that out. There's decor made of empty bottles along the wall. It's bigger than it looks.

Bar seats, tables or the upstairs room: what is the seating like?

There were bar seats, table seats once you go inside, and even room seats up on the second floor, so it was fun to pick where to sit. It was 8:00 PM, and there were more customers than I expected.

You order via the QR code stuck on the wall, and water plus cabbage came out as the basic side dish. The cabbage was tossed in a special sauce, which really got my appetite going.

Ordering chicken skewers, daechang skewers and beef brisket nabe

Everything looked so good I couldn't help but take photos. The ingredients felt fresh from start to finish, and the first bite was really satisfying. The beef brisket nabe in particular wasn't overpowering — it really brought out the natural flavor of the ingredients.

Wow. We ordered chicken skewers (15,000), daechang skewers (12,000), and beef brisket nabe (28,000). I'm literally drooling while writing this post ㅜㅜㅜㅜ The daechang skewers melted in my mouth the moment they arrived and disappeared instantly.

Both the chicken and daechang skewers had such a good charcoal-grilled aroma that I kept picking at them even when I was full..... The food came out pretty fast too. The skewers came first, then the nabe. The owner kindly brought it over and told us the daechang skewers taste best eaten right away.

The beef brisket nabe had so much meat and bean sprouts that we ended up ordering rice and mixing it all in. It had bok choy too, so it felt healthy, which I loved. The owner also kindly told us to let them know if the nabe got cold, which made the meal feel even better.

It's delicious with the skewers and rice, and just as good mixed into the nabe. Writing this while licking my lips..... The nabe broth was so good ㅜㅜ How can bok choy, onion, brisket, and bean sprouts taste this good together?

I came here as a round-two spot after already having dinner, and I thought I'd leave leftovers, but I finished everything without leaving a bite haha.

Can you drink solo here? A round-two stop after Times Square shopping

Some other customers just ordered skewers, and some kept it simple. There was even someone drinking solo at the bar seats! Since it's so close to Times Square, it seems like a great spot to grab a simple solo drink after shopping before heading home.

I ate the chicken skewers with mayo and cabbage. The nabe with brisket, onion, carrot, bean sprouts, and rice combo — such a delicious meal.

Overall it was a satisfying meal without a single complaint. Next time I definitely want to try the Shin Ramyun Tuumba menu. If you're nearby, I'd recommend visiting at least once. Trying it myself, I understood why it's such a famous restaurant!

Personally, this was one of the most satisfying places I've visited recently. The taste, service, and atmosphere were all great. I think it's worth the wait even if there's a line. It's a flavor I think I'll keep craving. It's been a while since I left a meal feeling this good, so it stuck with me. I could taste the freshness of the ingredients in the bok choy, cabbage, onion, carrot, and green onion.
