Pangyo Station dinner and drinks over beef tendon hot pot: Bacha

I was looking for a bar near Pangyo Station where I could eat dinner and have a drink at the same time, and ended up at Bacha Pangyo Branch. This time I ordered chadol beef tendon hot pot and mozzarella chili shrimp. Eating the two together worked well since the brothy hot pot and the sweet-spicy shrimp were completely different styles.

The second dish was mozzarella chili shrimp. At Bacha Pangyo Branch, we added a baguette to the chili shrimp.

It was a completely different dish from the hot pot, so ordering both together worked well. Plump shrimp are coated in a sweet-spicy chili sauce with mozzarella cheese melted on top.

The sweet, slightly spicy chili sauce combined with the mild richness of the cheese made it good to switch back and forth with the hot pot.

The flavor felt a little different eating the shrimp alone versus with the cheese, so there was some fun in picking based on mood. Personally, I liked pairing one plain, warm dish like the hot pot with a snack that's clearly different in flavor like this one.
