Songpa Korean BBQ feast with playroom: Hantiok
In short
Hantiok is a Korean barbecue restaurant in Songpa, Seoul, serving pork rib set meals and Andong-style dishes. I ordered 600 g marinated pork ribs, fresh rib meat, and a dessert cold noodle for 88,000 won. Verdict: Hantiok is a filling, family-friendly pick near Bangi Station.

A spacious pork rib restaurant near Bangi Station
I was craving sweet pork ribs for dinner, so after looking around, I visited Hantiok (한티옥) near Bangi Station, which had lots of reviews and great feedback! I always feel meat restaurants are easier to enjoy when they are spacious, and every table here had plenty of room. There was even a playroom, so it seemed like such a great place for family gatherings or company dinners!

I visited Hantiok on a weekday evening! Maybe because of the playroom, I spotted families with babies too. It is just a short walk from Bangi Station, so I thought the access was excellent, haha.

We came by car, and rather than parking on the street side, you can use valet parking if you go around to the back of the restaurant! It was ₩3,000 in cash. Parking is hard enough in Seoul, so I was so glad there was parking...!

The autographs you see as soon as you walk in, lol... Sooo many celebrities had visited! Since the interior is large and it is a meat restaurant, I think lots of people come for company dinners or family gatherings too. It was spacious, so we ate comfortably ❤️

Ordering a pork rib set meal and fresh rib meat
After wondering what to get, we ordered the Korean pork rib set meal (600 g marinated ribs and Andong broth) for ₩55,000, Emperor fresh rib meat, 200 g for ₩25,000, and dessert Korean beef mul-naengmyeon (cold noodles) for ₩8,000!

There are also separate meal options including Andong guksu (noodle soup), Andong gukbap (rice soup), a bossam set meal, dumplings, and set menus, so it seems like a great spot for lunch too!!! Office workers around Bangi would probably love coming in for a quick meal 👍🏻👍🏻

The side dishes came out neatly arranged, and the wraps, salad, pickled vegetables, and more were perfect with the meat!

Sweet marinated ribs grilled over charcoal
The 600 g of pork ribs came out quickly!! It was plenty for two people, and we were so full at night that we went to bed patting our bellies 🤣...

The charcoal was so good that the meat cooked quickly, and sweet marinade grilled over charcoal just cannot be bad.... We ate it wrapped in greens and with wasabi too! We ordered rice to have alongside it. So delicious!!!!!!

Since it was a pork rib set meal, Andong broth came with it too. This gukbap had a ton of meat in it and the broth was rich, so we immediately ordered another bowl of rice and ate it with the meat, haha. I really recommend ordering the set meal, everyone!!!!!

We also ordered 200 g of Emperor fresh rib meat (₩25,000). After eating only marinated meat, this unseasoned rib meat practically melted away, and it had its own charm dipped in salt 👍🏻🫶🏻 I highly recommend ordering both the marinated and unseasoned meat so you can try them both!!

Dessert cold noodles and the self-service bar
Marinated ribs call for cold noodles! We ordered them as dessert, and I hesitated because I thought the portion would be small, but it did not feel like a dessert portion at all..! If you are having a meal, I think the dessert noodles would be enough instead of the full-size ones, haha.

There is a self-service bar too, so we comfortably grabbed more side dishes whenever we needed them! I remember going back a few times because the wraps and pickled vegetables went so well with the meat •• haha.

A meat restaurant visited by actors Jo In-sung and G-Dragon, lol. They had signs at each table saying which celebrities had sat there 🤣

A playroom that is great for family gatherings
Oh, and it was advertised that a new playroom had opened, but I was surprised by how large it was inside! Families with children should be able to visit for a family gathering without worries 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 If you are looking for a meat restaurant near Bangi Station, give Hantiok a visit!
