I love freshwater eel, so this time I decided to really eat my fill and headed to Songnim Bok Jangeo Unlimited Freshwater Eel, Dongnae Branch!!

Eel is something I always want to eat, but the price can be a bit of a burden a lot of the time.

So while looking for good restaurants in Dongnae-gu, I noticed this place offers unlimited freshwater eel. We went with the adult unlimited refill for two people that day.
Songnim Bok Jangeo Dongnae: location, hours, parking
The address is 146 Myeongjang-ro, 1st floor, Dongnae-gu, Busan. Hours are 11:50 AM to 11:00 PM, and there's no dedicated parking lot. We parked in a nearby alley and hustled in to eat 😳 Use one of the private paid lots around the area. Last order was listed as 10:10 PM. Hours may change, so it's worth checking before you visit!!
Two adults, unlimited refill — what was the total?

We ordered the adult unlimited refill for two without hesitation. It's ₩29,900 per adult, so ₩59,800 for two.

On top of that, there's a table-setting and self-bar fee of ₩3,000 per person, so for two adults you should budget around ₩65,800 in total. Given that you can eat as much freshwater eel as you want, this is a setup that would catch the eye of anyone in Dongnae-gu who loves eel.
As much freshwater eel as you want

What I was most looking forward to was, of course, the eel.

The biggest advantage was that it's not a one-and-done deal — you can add more whenever you want. When you grill the eel on the pan until golden, it comes out slightly crispy on the outside and moist inside.

Personally, I think eel tastes better when you cook it slowly rather than rush it, haha. It's good with the sauce, and with the side dishes too — you just keep reaching for more.

If you love eel and want to eat as much as you can, this is definitely a place worth seeking out among Dongnae-gu restaurants.
It's not just eel — whole pork belly and chicken neck too
Songnim Bok Jangeo also serves whole pork belly and chicken neck meat alongside the freshwater eel, so once we started getting a little tired of eating only eel, it was nice to grill up some other meat too.

At all-you-can-eat places with just one menu item, you can get sick of it faster than you'd expect, but here you can switch things up with other meat in between, which kept the meal interesting. So it seemed like a good spot for eel lovers and meat lovers to visit together.
The self-bar is easy to use too

You grab whatever side dishes you need from the self-bar, so you can help yourself comfortably without feeling awkward whenever you run low. At an all-you-can-eat place, the side dishes matter just as much as the meat. Being able to take small amounts as needed meant less waste and only taking what we actually wanted.
If you're looking for a place to eat out with family, or to visit with parents who love eel, this is worth checking out as a Dongnae-gu restaurant option.

Overall thoughts on our visit for two
Having tried it myself, what I liked most was that two adults could eat plenty of freshwater eel without worrying about the price.

At a regular eel restaurant, you finish one plate and end up calculating the cost every time you order more. Because this is unlimited refill, there's none of that stress — you can grill up as much as you want. If you love eel, or usually have a big appetite, I think you'll be even more satisfied!!

In particular, being able to eat eel alongside pork belly and chicken neck meat all at one table makes it a great fit if you want to enjoy several dishes in one sitting. If you're looking for a Dongnae-gu restaurant where you can eat your fill of freshwater eel, Songnim Bok Jangeo Unlimited Freshwater Eel Dongnae Branch is well worth a visit!!
