Manseokjip, a popular Suwon Station spot, had private drinking rooms lined up all the way through! With both the second and third floors in use, it also has group seating, so it looked great for group gatherings too~

We were assigned Room 5~ Last time the interior was dark, but this time we were shown to a window seat where we could catch the sunset ☀️ Soft music played in the venue, making it easy to talk, and it was definitely private—perfect for a blind date or date night~

The neat, calm wood-tone interior was totally my style! The tables were well spaced, and there was a separate air conditioner and clothes hanger, so it was comfortable~

The room fee is ₩2,000 Sunday through Thursday and only ₩3,000 on Friday and Saturday! We visited on a Sunday, and I loved being able to use such a nice-quality room for ₩2,000~

The restroom is inside the venue, which felt hygienic~🚻

Buldak cream jjamppong served with a burner

Our first dish was buldak cream jjamppong (spicy chicken cream jjamppong)! They gave us a burner too, so we could keep it warm until the very end!

The moment it arrived, the visuals were insane and my mouth started watering! The huge scallops and mussels were what stood out most~ 🐚

It came already cooked and started bubbling quickly. A sip of the broth made me feel all warmed through! Compared with regular jjamppong, the added cream made it spicy and rich, almost like eating pasta~

Spicy, rich buldak cream jjamppong

There was no way we could have something this good without ordering drinks~ We ordered 500cc draft beers and Jinro Light! Exactly Chunggu's taste as a drink lover 🍻

Everything had been prepped, so the meat slipped right out of the shells! It was generously sized and fresh too—so satisfying haha

It was packed with little shrimp, big shrimp, onions, and bacon too, so it was fun picking out the ingredients~ We each happily had a shrimp, yum yum~🦐

Cream jjamppong with shrimp and noodles

There were so~ many noodles that it really reminded me why this is such a good-value spot~ The sauce coated the noodles, and the seasoning was just right!

The heat was about as spicy as the cream Buldak Koreans love, so even spice wimps like us could enjoy it~ 🔥 A full, satisfying bite filled the mouth!

Moist charcoal-grilled seasoned makchang with no off smell

The second dish was charcoal-grilled seasoned makchang (grilled pork intestine)~ The nutty aroma made my eyes go wide the moment it arrived!

It came with seasoned makchang, garlic chives, and mayonnaise~

There was plenty of cabbage and whole garlic too, giving it great texture and making it easy to pair with everything. The charcoal seasoning was savory and full of umami!

Most importantly, the makchang was so moist it filled the mouth, and there was not even a hint of off smell—you could really tell the ingredients were fresh~ The more I chewed, the deeper the flavor got!!

Dip it in the mayonnaise sauce and the spice is softened, which is the perfect touch!! Such an addictive flavor!!

Beer and grilled makchang meal

The beer went down so easily that we ordered two more glasses haha Then we wrapped up refreshingly with Zero Coke~
