Thick Greek yogurt bowls in Suwon at Grid in Greek, a café
In short
Grid in Greek is a café in Suwon, Gyeonggi, serving extra-thick Greek yogurt bowls with little tang. I packed up two combinations with different granolas and honeys, and the cocoa granola with cinnamon honey was especially good. Verdict: one bowl will have you wanting to pack up another.

Greek yogurt that makes you think of another bowl after one
When I eat Greek yogurt at Grid in Greek (그리드인그릭), I somehow find myself putting Greek yogurt in my shopping cart. But;; it tastes completely different from the Greek yogurt sold in storesㅠ I bought some Greek yogurt and tried to recreate itㅠ but it is not Grid in Greek’s tasteㅠ
If you want to try Grid in Greek’s special Greek yogurt, I absolutely recommend visiting! They do takeout too, so even though the shop is small, pack it up and try it at home. My 10-year-old son and 7-year-old twins took nearly all of it; but thankfully, I finished one whole bowl before my three kids arrived. You really need to pack up at least two Greek yogurts from Grid in Greek. Once you eat one, you want another~

Getting to Grid in Greek and parking
Grid in Greek’s sign is not especially noticeable, so I recommend looking carefully as you head there. If you use Hwahongmun Public Parking Lot, it should take about 5–7 minutes on foot. Hwahongmun Public Parking Lot is the largest parking lot near Haenggung-dong, so parking should not be difficult if you visit on a weekday.

How to choose your size, granola, and honey
When you choose Greek yogurt at Grid in Greek, you will see several options like in the photos below.

I loved that there were so many choices for size, granola type, and honey type. I chose two Greek yogurts and made each one a different flavor, and as expected, the cocoa granola was tastier than the signature granola for this pro dieter~
Between original honey and cinnamon honey, the cinnamon honey was sweeter and had a nicer aroma. Choosing two Greek yogurts was great because I could try different kinds of granola and honey. If you visit Grid in Greek, I really hope you try two kinds of Greek yogurt~ Even next time, I am going to eat both kinds.

Granola popular enough to be sold separately
Grid in Greek’s granola is popular enough to be sold separately. It contains Korean organic oats, whole grains, and various seeds, and its signature texture is crisp individual pieces rather than clumps. They say it gets its subtle, clean sweetness from maple syrup.
With the sweet-bitter flavor of cocoa added in, you can enjoy a chocolatey combination when it is eaten with yogurt or milk.

I could not have a drink because I had already had too many drinks at school, but I hear Grid in Greek’s drinks are delicious too, so I definitely need to try one next time.

Why takeout is also a good idea in this small shop
Grid in Greek’s interior was not very large. There were about three tables, so it looked like only around 12 guests could sit down at most. But! You can pack it up and eat at home like I did, or enjoy it while looking at the lovely Banghwasuryujeong Pavilion, so takeout is great too~~

There were lots of customers in the shop, so I brought mine home as takeout.

The reason I could only photograph the fig Greek yogurt was that my three kids took all of the other Greek yogurt. I should not have brought out Grid in Greek yogurt while my three kids were aroundㅠ I wanted to eat it all by myselfㅠ

A low-tang, satisfyingly dense yogurt bowl
Grid in Greek’s yogurt bowl is the shop’s identity and its most popular signature item. The biggest appeal of its Greek yogurt is that it has little tang and is incredibly thick. If you love cream cheese or yogurt with a texture so firm it almost catches in your throat, you will absolutely be satisfied by its rich, nutty flavor.
It comes generously topped with house-made granola, and every bite fills your mouth with a loud crunch, a subtle cinnamon scent, and the nutty flavor unique to nuts. The contrast between this crisp texture and the thick yogurt is excellent. Fresh fruit is added as a topping by season for a refreshing touch.
Smooth honey is added too, wrapping the whole flavor in a clean, natural sweetness rather than the sharp sweetness of sugar. If you are looking for a good date spot, sandwich spot, or Greek yogurt spot in Haenggung-dong, how about Grid in Greek?
