Naver window-seat booking at a Haeundae Chinese restaurant: Bueokgan
In short
Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch is an ocean-view Chinese restaurant in Marine City, Haeundae, Busan, on the second floor above Subyeon Choego Pork Gukbap. A couple reserved a hall window seat through Naver Reservation and ordered black vinegar pork tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork, small), ganjajang (stir-fried black bean noodles) with a poached egg, and beef jjamppong with woo-samgyeop brisket — three dishes so generous that two people could barely finish them. With the sea in full view, Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch suits a date, a family get-together or a special-occasion meal.

Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch
Hours: Daily 11:00–22:00 (break time 15:30–17:00)

Where is Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch, and where do you park?
Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch is a very famous spot around Marine City near Dongbaek Station in Busan. Why is it so famous? Because it sits right in front of the sea, so you can enjoy your meal with an ocean view! I visited based on photos alone, and it really was a dreamy, delightful meal.
Most people visit while traveling, so parking is available for free for 1 hour and 30 minutes at The Sharp Adelis commercial parking lot, directly across from Hanwha Resort. It's about a 3-minute walk from Momos Coffee Marine City branch, and it's located on the 2nd floor of Suybeon Choego Pork Gukbap Marine City branch.

How to book an ocean-view window seat on Naver
The ocean view hits you the moment you walk in!!!! Amazing. Another great thing about Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch is that you can book ahead through Naver Reservation. Hall window seats or private rooms are both bookable, so pick whichever suits you. We were obviously here for the sea, so we booked a hall window seat!!

Three dishes for two: ganjajang, jjamppong and tangsuyuk
Here's the menu at Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch. There were so many delicious options it was hard to choose, but at a Chinese restaurant, it's got to be jajangmyeon + jjamppong + tangsuyuk!!
📋 Order
Order placed~~!

The basic side dishes, pickled radish and salted radish, haha.

Ooh! The dishes finally arrived. Food tastes even better when you're eating with an ocean view. We came as just two people and only ordered the basic set, but the portions were huge! Let me introduce each one, haha.

Black vinegar pork tangsuyuk: a small size with big portions
This is the hot menu item at Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch, black vinegar pork tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork). The size is small, but the portion is huge! I wondered what "black vinegar" meant — it's a sauce made from Chinese black vinegar that gives a deeper, richer flavor. Ahh, so that's why it's called black vinegar! Unlike regular tangsuyuk, the meat is thick and made with glutinous rice flour, so it's super crispy, and the sauce has a much sharper, more delicious tang. Highly recommend!

Poached-egg ganjajang: smoky wok flavour with a soft egg
This is the poached-egg ganjajang (dry black bean noodles). It was even better for the price, packed generously with pork belly and various vegetables. Stir-fried quickly over high heat, it had an excellent, subtly spreading smoky flavor!! It kept the rich, distinctive taste of ganjajang while feeling lighter and cleaner thanks to all the vegetables.
Best of all, they topped it with a poached egg — bursting it and mixing it in added a soft, rich texture that made it even more delicious. The combination of ganjajang and poached egg works better than you'd expect. If you like ganjajang, this is worth trying at least once, haha.

Woo-samgyeop beef jjamppong: my husband's favourite
This is the woo-samgyeop beef jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup) that my husband loved the most. The thinly sliced woo-samgyeop beef soaked into the jjamppong, doubling the flavor, and the broth was so rich! I didn't expect it to work, but it was way more delicious than I thought. Wrapping the meat with the noodles was seriously good, haha. The noodles were chewy and well-boiled, really delicious.
