Haeundae pizza restaurant with pink kids' tableware: Bueokgan

In short

Bueokgan Haeundae Branch is a European restaurant on Dalmaji-gil in Haeundae, Busan, run as a YES kids zone with baby chairs and kids' tableware. On this second family meal at Bueokgan Haeundae Branch, the child picked carbonara and pepperoni pizza, ordered from the table tablet, and the pink kids' tableware and the wide spacing between tables made the hall easy with a little one. For a relaxed Western meal with a child in Haeundae, Bueokgan Haeundae Branch is a solid choice.

When you're looking for a nice-atmosphere restaurant to take a kid to, you naturally start checking not just the food but whether it's actually comfortable for a child to eat there — so this time I went back with Ha-eun to Bueokgan Haeundae, a European restaurant.

Visiting Bueokgan Haeundae European restaurant with a child

I've actually been to Bueokgan a few times, including the Chinese side, but the European restaurant also left good memories from an earlier meal with my daughter, so it naturally came to mind for this family outing.

This visit happened because Ha-eun said she wanted carbonara — and when a kid picks her own dish, it makes deciding the menu so much easier for me.

Where is Bueokgan Haeundae Branch, and where do you park?

Bueokgan Haeundae Branch sits up along the road past Dongbaek Elementary School, making it a nice stop for a drive around Haeundae. Parking is available in front of the store, along the nearby roadside, in a lot beside Cafe De Bueok, and in a basement lot behind the building, so getting there by car with a kid was easy too.

The European restaurant still had that classic yet warm atmosphere I remembered — vintage furniture, lighting, and stylish decor pieces coming together for a feel quite different from your typical family-outing spot.

What makes Bueokgan a YES kids zone?

One of the biggest reasons I keep coming back here is that, despite being such a stylish space, it's still a YES kids zone that's easy to bring a child to.

With a baby chair and kids' tableware already set up, I didn't have to bring anything extra for mealtime — those small touches for kids really put my mind at ease as a mom.

Bueokgan Haeundae Branch hall with generously spaced tables

The hall itself is spacious, and the tables have plenty of room between them, so sitting with a child never felt cramped — it was a nice setting to slowly enjoy a meal and chat as a family.

The roomy table we were seated at

We were seated at a big, comfortable table, plenty of space for Ha-eun and me — even when she moved around or was eating, it never felt tight, which made the meal even more relaxed.

Pink kids' tableware set on the table

Ha-eun loved the cute pink kids' tableware the moment she saw it — the little details prepared just for kids made the whole meal that much more pleasant.

Ordering carbonara and pepperoni pizza by tablet

Ordering was simple with the tablet at the table, browsing photos and descriptions for each dish. We ordered the carbonara and pepperoni pizza Ha-eun had been wanting.

The carbonara came out first — bacon, button mushrooms, and cream sauce all together, the sauce soaked richly into the noodles, looking savory just to see.

Carbonara with bacon and button mushrooms

The thick, smooth cream sauce paired with the salty savoriness of the bacon made for a full-bodied flavor, and with the button mushrooms mixed in too, you could really taste that classic cream pasta richness.

Best of all, this was the dish Ha-eun herself asked for, and watching her eat it as happily as she'd hoped was as satisfying to me as the taste itself.

When eating out with a kid, having even one dish she genuinely likes makes the whole meal so much more relaxed — and with Ha-eun's favorite carbonara on the table, this felt like a satisfying choice for a family meal.

And the pepperoni pizza we ordered alongside had a generous, appetizing pile of pepperoni on top, its salty savory flavor pairing well with the pizza.

It's a pizza that's easy to share slice by slice, so it worked well for the whole family, and going back and forth between the rich, smooth carbonara and the salty pepperoni pizza made for a great combo.

Ha-eun went from the carbonara to trying the pizza, enjoying a bit of everything — and with her so focused on eating well, I finally got to enjoy a relaxed meal myself for once.

Why Bueokgan Haeundae worked for a family meal with a child

Beyond pasta and pizza, Bueokgan also has salad, truffle gnocchi, pilaf, steak, and more — so even with a child along, the adults still get plenty of options to choose from.

Following the good memories from our first visit, this second trip to the European restaurant was just as satisfying, with Ha-eun happily finishing her carbonara and pepperoni pizza. If you're looking for a kid-friendly Western restaurant in Haeundae where you can eat comfortably with your child, I'd recommend Bueokgan Haeundae European restaurant — great for family outings, and just as good for brunch or a date.
