A Postpartum-Care-Center Friends’ Get-Together in Beomgye

We had our first postpartum-care-center friends’ gathering in ages in Beomgye. We all have two children, so we are always racing around drop-off and pickup time, but just for this day, we had a short but packed—and very fun—chat session at Two Find Peter, a great pasta spot in Beomgye.

🚘 You can use the building’s mechanical underground parking garage, but one of the younger moms from our group and I opted for a nearby public parking lot for peace of mind.

Come up to the fifth floor of the building with Kkakchan Jokbal on the first floor and Yeokjeon Halmaek on the second, and you will find Two Find Peter.

Whenever I visited Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch, I always sat in the dim spot near the entrance. This time, we tried an inner table by the window, and it had such a different feel! Should I say this side is brighter?

The overall lighting was low, which made it feel relaxing, and the tables were well spaced out, so I thought it would be a nice spot for a Beomgye date or blind date, too.

Starter bread and our order

There are normally six of us in the group, including me, but only three gathered that day and got chatting away. Our main meeting place is usually a kids’ café that we book out, with all the children in tow, so it was so nice to meet without them... haha. The smiles never left the three of our faces... haha.

You order through the kiosk at the table, then make the final payment when you leave.

Pasta, Pilaf, and Pizza Ordered by Three Women

Two Find Peter is known in Beomgye for good-value pasta and pizza, so we ordered one pizza, one pasta, and one pilaf. (Three women in total.)

Spicy Crabby Pasta

This pasta has a spicy cream sauce and a crabmeat-like flavor. It is the sort of pasta you can scrape right down to the bottom without finding it rich or cloying.

Save the starter bread and dip it in the thick, rich Spicy Crabby Pasta sauce—it is delicious. I always order this pasta when I come to Two Find Peter. It is perhaps the most Korean-style flavor, and one that nobody is likely to dislike?

Shrimp Pilaf

We debated between risotto and pilaf, then decided to try the Shrimp Pilaf. That red sauce is tomato sauce, not spicy sauce, and alternating it with the wasabi mayo served alongside makes for such a good combination.

It has bacon and broccoli as well as shrimp, so it is a menu item children can eat, too. The rice is nicely separate and fluffy, which gives it a lovely texture~

Corn Pizza

You really have to try this. 😍 I had always ordered only pasta, but this time I ordered pizza too, and among Two Find Peter’s pizzas, I think the Corn Pizza has by far the crispiest toppings and chewiest dough.

There are potato chips inside, so it gets crunchier the more you chew, while the torched corn is sweet and nutty. It can be a little spicy, though, so do not give it to very young babies~

It had been such a long time since our group had gotten together, so it felt sad to eat here and simply part ways. The weather was lovely, so we went to Jungang Park, had coffee, and kept talking.
