Mom, Dad, our medium-sized dog Hyosoon, and me — the four of us kicked off our Gangneung trip with our first stop at Moana Burger, a Gangneung favorite! How to find Moana Burger in Gangneung, and opening hours

Moana Burger's address is 228-33 Nanseolheon-ro, Gangneung-si, Gangwon, only about 5 minutes by car from St. John's Hotel where we stayed, which made it even easier to get to :) It's open from 11am to 9pm, so it's great for lunch or dinner anytime. We went for lunch as our first stop of the trip. Several other parties came in after us, and one small dog even arrived in a stroller haha.

There's a good parking spot right out front. Lots of cars park along the street too, so it's convenient to come by car — important stuff 👍🏻

Can medium-sized dogs sit indoors? Moana Burger's dog parking seats

The moment we walked in, the hip vibe had my expectations up ✨ Plus there was the adorable resident dog Yeoreum catching everyone's eye, yay (such a sweet, gentle pup — I got to pet her a bit, so happy!!). Our dog Hyosoon is usually shy around strangers, but she settled right into the pet-friendly seating haha.

There are proper spots set up for parking your dog like this, so it's a great Gangneung restaurant for medium and large dogs to join indoors. Small dogs could come in a pet stroller too.

How to order and Moana Burger menu prices

You order at the counter inside. There were three burger types — the Moana Burger, the Double, and the Hawaiian haha.

• Budweiser draft beer ₩8,000
• Coca-Cola ₩2,500

We picked these three :) and waited excitedly for the burgers to come out.

How the Moana Burger and fries tasted

First, we fed Hyosoon her lunch since she'd come such a long way lol. She's on a mix of kibble and fresh food these days, and I was glad she ate well, yay.

After a bit of a wait, the delicious handmade burgers appeared!! Just look at that, doesn't it look amazing ㅠㅠ It really was the best, sniff.

Fresh ingredients like tomato, cheese, romaine, and red onion are piled generously on top of a soft, clean-tasting patty. And needless to say, the freshly fried, warm, fluffy fries pair perfectly with it ^.^

Honestly, before we got to Gangneung I'd already had breakfast and a snack on the way, so I worried I might not be hungry enough — but that worry vanished the second good food showed up...^^ Not just me, but Mom and Dad both said it was delicious and ate it all up, which made me so happy haha.

Put on the plastic gloves they give you, press the burger down firmly, and hold it in your hands to happily enjoy all the different ingredients haha. Dog trip or not, I decided I have to come back again :) (The owner was so incredibly kind too, love it ㅜㅜ)

If you love fluffy fries, there's no way you won't like these!! Getting handmade burgers and fries of this quality for ₩13,000 — how great is that...haha. I'm definitely recommending this to people around me ♥️

Thanks to Dad driving, Mom and I got to enjoy some draft beer too — and the burger + fries + beer combo really was love haha.
