Yangyang countryside barbecue lunch with two noodles: Yeoyejeong

Yeoyejeong 🥩🤍 — where I stopped for lunch while traveling around Yangyang. It's in a quiet countryside village in Yangyang, so it was a relaxed spot to grab lunch while on a trip. It's not far from nearby attractions, and there's a wide parking area right in front, so it was easy to visit by car too!

We ordered marinated ribs (양념갈비) for two + white kimchi noodles (백김치국수) + Yeojeong naengmyeon (여정냉면) that day! We each got a noodle dish to go along with the meat, so we ate a really hearty meal haha

Where is Yeoyejeong in Yangyang, and what are its hours?

📍 Yeoyejeong is at 49 Ssangsolbaegi-gil, Seo-myeon, Yangyang-gun, Gangwon-do. Hours are 11:30 - 21:00, break time is 15:00 - 17:00, and it's closed every Tuesday.

※ Lunch meat orders close at 13:30, and lunch specials close at 14:00!

🚗 Parking at Yeoyejeong

There's a large private lot right in front of Yeoyejeong, so it was convenient to visit by car! The lot is quite spacious so we could use it without any parking stress, and of course it's free!!

🏠 What the dining room looks like

Yeoyejeong's dining room is spacious and pleasant. The tables have plenty of space between them for a comfortable meal, and the restrooms are separated by gender and kept nicely clean too — I liked that a lot!

There's also a baby chair available, so families visiting with kids should be able to eat comfortably too.

Looking at Yeoyejeong's menu board, there's a wide range — from lunch specials to pork, beef, and side dishes! With so many meat options, it seems easy to pick according to your taste.

🥩 Marinated ribs for two

First up, the main we ordered — marinated ribs (양념갈비) for two! We grilled them together and each paired them with our own noodle dish. The marinated ribs were well-seasoned enough to enjoy on their own, but they also went really well with the noodles 🤍

The side dishes came out too, and I especially loved how fresh the lettuce was! A bite of meat wrapped with lettuce was clean and crisp — I kept reaching for more.

🥒 White kimchi noodles (baek kimchi guksu)

I ordered the white kimchi noodles (백김치국수)! Noodles in a cool, clean white kimchi broth — it paired really well with the marinated ribs.

A bite of meat, then a bite of white kimchi noodles, and your mouth feels refreshed again 🤍 Eating the meat and noodles together rather than separately worked even better!

🍜 Yeojeong naengmyeon, the cold buckwheat noodles

My boyfriend ordered the Yeojeong naengmyeon (여정냉면). Cold noodles are another great pairing with marinated ribs! I had white kimchi noodles, he had Yeojeong naengmyeon — each of us with our own noodle dish to share with the meat, and it worked out perfectly~~

We had a hearty lunch at Yeoyejeong and happened to be planning a café stop anyway, so we headed straight to Café Dunchi to grab the discount haha. Having the meal flow naturally into a café made it a great combo for a Yangyang travel itinerary!
