Every time I had something to do around Pangyo, I always wondered where to eat, but after visiting Raon Sik Tak Pangyo Branch (라온식탁 판교점), that worry completely disappeared. I recommend it for dates, gatherings, families with little ones, and blind dates alike. Raon Sik Tak’s menu was impressive from the very start

From wood-fired pizza and gnocchi to pasta, risotto, and steak, the menu was quite varied—as you would expect from a great restaurant on Baekhyeon-dong Café Street. The item that immediately caught my eye was the “sous-vide flat iron steak.” It came with low-temperature-cooked flat iron steak, mashed potatoes, and assorted vegetables, so I ordered it without a second thought.

What are the atmosphere and wait like at weekday lunch?

The restaurant atmosphere gets a passing grade too

I visited at weekday lunchtime, and because it is popular, I waited a little before being shown straight to a table. The tables were nicely spaced, so it was easy to eat and chat comfortably without worrying about the people next to us. The lighting and interior tones were calm, making it feel equally suited to a date or a casual meet-up with friends. The staff explained the menu kindly too, so even as a first-time visitor, I could order without getting lost.

How does the sous-vide flat iron steak taste?

Wow!!!!! It was seriously so delicious that I absolutely want to come back. Maybe because it was cooked sous-vide, the juices were still there and the tender texture was clearly different. The mashed potatoes that came with it had just the right balance without being too rich. And how were all the garnishes this delicious?

The combination was so good with every single bite!

Is it good to pair the steak with wine?

You have no idea how much I wanted a glass of wine. They also had a good lineup of red wines to go with steak, so I thought I should pair it with a glass next time. I think something fuller-bodied would go especially well with the steak. Next time, it would also be nice to make a set meal with pizza or gnocchi.

Is it convenient for strollers and group visits?

A place with a wood-fired oven, too ❤️ It has received the Blue Ribbon for two consecutive years. I recommend it as a blind-date spot as well. The music playing in the restaurant was exactly my taste too. The playlist was atmospheric without being too loud, so I felt good throughout the meal. The owner was kind when taking orders and at payment as well, which made me trust the service too.

What I especially liked was that strollers are allowed inside. The aisles were wide enough to bring a stroller through easily, making it a place families with children can visit without feeling burdened. There really were families with strollers there too. It had the kind of atmosphere where people were having small work dinners and family gatherings.

If you are looking for a great Western restaurant in Pangyo, I strongly recommend Raon Sik Tak Pangyo Branch. The sous-vide flat iron steak was especially satisfying—enough that I’m still thinking about it. I’m 100% willing to revisit, and next time I plan to have it with wine.
