Before picking up my kid from daycare, I was looking for a café near Suwon Station to meet a friend. Parking is hard to come by around Suwon Station, so when I found a café with parking, I rushed right over. The beans were varied and the desserts were delicious, so today I want to introduce Tteum Café by Oneplay, which I visited.
Tteum Café by Oneplay Suwon Station: hours and parking
Tteum Café by Oneplay Suwon Station is open daily 10:00–20:00, with last order at 19:20. Maybe because it was a weekday, parking spots were plentiful. Since it's in an officetel building, the parking garage seems to go down four basement levels.
When you're looking for a café near Suwon Station with parking, that worry usually comes first — but here, parking was easy, so I could visit without stress. The first 30 minutes are free, and up to 1 hour of parking support is given with a café purchase.
Inside the café, a space shared with a furniture store
After parking, we took the elevator to the first floor. Inside the elevator there was a Tteum Café discount notice, which seemed to be a benefit for officetel residents.
It looked like you could also enter through a back door, but just in case, we went out of the building and in through the main first-floor entrance.
I was a little surprised the moment I walked in — turns out the café shares its space with Lady Furniture. A furniture shop and a café together felt like a fresh combo. The window seats looked hot from the sunlight when we visited, so we sat further inside instead.
Smelling the beans: how you choose your coffee at Tteum Café
Tteum Café by Oneplay has a space where you can sniff the coffee beans yourself. Before visiting, I'd seen a photo and wondered, 'what is this?' — turns out it was this bean-sniffing corner.

You press a pump-like part and get a whiff of the bean's scent. Before ordering, you can sniff and pick whichever bean you like. If you're someone who loves coffee, this process would probably be fun. I sniffed the beans myself before choosing my drink.

There was also a cute croffle model near the register! True to being a croffle spot near Suwon Station, even the dessert display was decorated cutely. I'll introduce the croffle menu below along with what we ordered.

They also had a lot of unique, pretty drink cups. Looking at them, I thought, 'it'd be nice to have a cup like this at home.'

Somehow coffee tastes better when the cup is pretty, right? Each cup had its own character, so there was fun in just looking around even before the drinks arrived.
This is the self-serve zone with the cup return spot and water. My friend and I kept saying, 'even the water cups are pretty!' haha. Even small details like this caught our eye, so browsing the café was pretty fun.
Looking around the store, the line between the café and the furniture shop got a bit blurry. We guessed that if a table had a QR code on it, it was café space. Scanning the QR code led to an order link.
For anyone curious about the menu, I'll attach the order link too.

Three menu boards and 17 specialty beans
Tteum Café by Oneplay's menu can be roughly divided into three boards. First, the large standing menu board lists coffee and non-coffee drinks. You check the basic drink menu and pick what you want.

A smaller menu board lists the specialty coffee menu separately. After sniffing the beans at the corner mentioned above, you can choose whichever bean you want. Each bean has a name and description, which seemed helpful even for people who don't know much about coffee. I photographed all 17 bean names and descriptions below, so check them before ordering.

I usually love Ethiopian coffee and thought about getting that this time too, but since it was around 3pm, I figured cutting back on caffeine would be better. So I chose the decaf ginger lemon sugarcane that day. For anyone who wants to try something new beyond their usual bean, this sniffing process seems like it'd be fun.

Croffles and 6 handmade cakes on the dessert menu
Last is the dessert menu board. True to a Suwon Station dessert café, there was everything from croffles to madeleines, financiers, and slice cakes. The croffle menu is as follows.
- Plain croffle
- Ice cream croffle
- Chocolate ice cream croffle
- Lotus croffle
Besides croffles, they also sell slice cakes.

There were as many as 6 kinds of cake.
- Black sesame cake
- Fresh cream strawberry cake
- Earl Grey cheese cake
- Hennessy tiramisu cake
- Cheese soufflé cake
- Valrhona dark chocolate cake

All the cakes were labeled handmade! With so many kinds of cake, I thought it'd be nice to come back next time with coffee and cake together.

How the decaf ginger lemon sugarcane and chocolate ice cream croffle tasted
In the end, we ordered a vanilla bean latte, a decaf ginger lemon sugarcane, and a chocolate ice cream croffle. My decaf ginger lemon sugarcane had a refreshing scent and a clean taste, which I liked. My friend's vanilla bean latte also had a slightly different bean feel compared to coffee we've had at other cafés.

And now, today's main dessert! Despite the name, the chocolate ice cream croffle wasn't actually chocolate ice cream — it came with vanilla ice cream drizzled with chocolate syrup. The soft vanilla ice cream plus the sweetness of the chocolate syrup went great with the croffle.
Crispy yet chewy, with sweetness on top — I really enjoyed it. Eating the croffle with ice cream made the texture and flavor feel even richer. If you're looking for a croffle near Suwon Station, give this one a try!
Lastly, the restroom is located in the hallway outside the café. Since it's a newly built building, the restroom was kept clean too.
