Base Burger Gwanggyo Avenue France Branch sits in Gwanggyo Avenue France, one of Gwanggyo's main commercial areas. It's close to Gwanggyo Jungang Station and not far from Lake Park or the café street, making it convenient to combine with other plans in the area.

Since Avenue France itself has a bunch of cafés gathered together, it's easy to grab a meal at Base Burger and then hit a café right after, or stop by for a meal after a walk around Lake Park.

It's located in the <Raon Zone>, not the Atti Zone, so if you park near the Atti Zone you might end up wandering around. Raon Zone, 2nd floor — remember that!

Parking can also be combined across Avenue France and all Lotte Mart branches, applying up to 4 hours max per day.

Thanks to a heating unit, the chips stay warm and crispy, and ketchup, mayonnaise, and small plates are all self-serve, so you can help yourself freely without feeling awkward.

How the Base Burger set tastes with sweet potato fries and a cornflake milkshake

Finally, the Base Burger and Hawaiian Burger sets I ordered arrived. The Base Burger, true to its name, lets you taste Base Burger's classic hand-crafted burger. It comes with a beef patty, real cheddar cheese, house sauce, butterhead lettuce, onion, and tomato.

I swapped the regular fries for sweet potato fries and changed the drink to a cornflake milkshake. I wanted to try something a little different that day, so I went with sweet potato fries — their sweetness paired well with the burger — and especially the cornflake milkshake! Nutty and sweet, totally recommend it.

The Hawaiian Burger: grilled pineapple and low-sodium bacon

Next up, the Hawaiian Burger. I ordered it because I heard it lets you enjoy the smoky char and sweetness of grilled pineapple.

It comes with a beef patty, real cheddar cheese, house sauce, butterhead lettuce, low-sodium bacon, and two pineapple slices. With pineapple and bacon added to the basic hand-crafted burger ingredients, my kid really enjoyed this one.

Is Base Burger worth it, and is it open over Chuseok?

Overall, this visit to Base Burger Gwanggyo Avenue France Branch was very satisfying. Above all, you can enjoy quite a variety of burger styles depending on what you choose, each with its own clear appeal, which makes me want to come back.

It's a great atmosphere for eating with family, meeting friends casually, or having a date over hand-crafted burgers.
