Where is Heeol Hair near Gangnam Station, and what is the salon like?

Heeol Hair is right in the middle of Gangnam Station, so it's super accessible 👍🏻 It's above that CGV line we all know — you can probably guess exactly where, right? ㅎ3ㅎ

Walking inside, the first thing I noticed was the warm wood-tone vibe 🪵🪑 So clean!

The seating is arranged a bit differently for each treatment — makes sense, since doing everything in one spot would leave the floor messy. They moved us around and cleaned up right away each time ✨ so on top of it.

I was shown to my seat and waited for the designer! Such a nervous, heart-pounding moment..💗 (as an I, my instinct is to run ㅋㅋㅋ)

While I waited they gave me a pouch with my name tag on it! Aw, were they waiting for me~ ??ㅎㅎ

Consultation with designer Hyunju: medium-length layered C-curl perm plus clinic

After a short wait, my designer came over and started the consultation right away 📝 The designer I picked this time was Hyunju 🤍 Since I wear a medium-length layered style, it matched perfectly with her specialties — medium-length layered cuts, C-curl perms, and build perms.

First I told her how I usually style my hair 🧐 and what I was struggling with, then shared the style I wanted! After looking at my hair, she helped shape a design together that could come out even prettier in the direction I wanted 💇🏻‍♀️ Since my hair already had quite a lot of layers, she explained that adding natural volume to the upper layers and a C-curl perm to the lower layers would look great 💗 [She explained it in detail, saying that trimming down the layers a bit during the cut would let the shape flow more naturally overall, on and on she went haha]

The shampoo that almost puts you to sleep

💨 And off we go 💨 Time for the real treatment to begin, starting with a shampoo 🐾

Covered with a warm blanket, lying back comfortably ..😪 as they washed my hair, all the tension just melted away. Warm and cozy..the touch is so good💤

Right there..yes, a bit higher, that's it (scrub scrub)ㅎ..so refreshing..

That feeling of getting a full scalp wash..you know what I mean right? ㅋㅋ Just from the shampoo my whole body felt refreshed 🙂👍🏻

Clinic treatment in two rounds, with heat checked four or five times

They said the clinic treatment happens in stages throughout! Before starting the perm, she began with the first round of clinic 🧴🫧🧴🫧

She applied the clinic product strand by strand so no section was left out 💆🏻‍♀️ Get soft and moisturized, my poor hair~

The coffee and snacks were amazing too! No complaints here, I'll happily wait while snacking on these...👌🏻

She kept checking my hair's condition throughout, and not just once or twice — she checked carefully multiple times ✔️ More than 4–5 times.. really thorough..checking the heat processing and adjusting to my hair's condition each time...I was moved by the dedication...

Truly the final-final-final-final.jpg last heat treatment... clinic care is no joke! I waited patiently and endlessly so the clinic product would take properly..❤️‍🩹

Finally, once the treatment was done, it was back to shampoo time! With a determined look in my eyes.

After the shampoo, she dried my hair and trimmed off the messy bits! ✂️

But my hair was seriously shining ㅋㅋ✨ It hardly felt like the same frizzy hair from before — the texture felt so much smoother 🧼 I finally understood why they do the clinic treatment alongside the perm. My hair… fully revived… 🙆🏻‍♀️

How the layered C-curl heat perm is done (feat. the inari-roll perm)

Now onto the real perm process! We went with a heat perm ❤️‍🔥 Two designers worked together, rolling my hair up so fast — their hands were seriously quick.. Watching my hair get rolled up in an instant, I slowly turned into an inari sushi human•••

There was one interesting part of the process too! When rolling the hair, if a crease forms in the middle section 👣 it can look a bit awkward, so she smoothed that part out naturally as well. She worked through it carefully right up until the neutralizer stage 😁

While applying the neutralizer, the second round of clinic happened at the same time! It felt like they were taking care of the perm and the hair health together at once, so there was no room for my hair to get damaged 😙 Neutralizer, yay~

The finished medium-length C-curl perm and how to blow-dry it at home

After all the treatments were done, while drying my hair she gave me a very detailed lesson 🫧 on how to blow-dry it at home 🪮 I've always struggled with my side hair drooping flat, and she gave me a masterclass on adding volume 👍🏻 I get it in my head… now my hands have to make it happen… gotta make it happen😳

And finally I got to see the finished look — I loved it so much 💗 Thanks to the clinic treatment, my hair had this clean, glossy, well-defined texture!! And with natural volume added to the sections that used to droop, the overall hair silhouette looked so much more lively 😇

About 3 hours 30 minutes, watching it transform the whole time...🥰 From shampoo to clinic to cut to perm, it was fascinating seeing my hair change little by little at each stage, and honestly it went by way faster and more enjoyably than I expected 🙃 Designer Hyunju even walked me out at the end, which made me feel so taken care of on the service side too 🌷

Since I loved it so much, and who knows when a day like this will come again..! I left one photo 🔥 How's the hair looking~?
