Ansan hair salon full Shiseido color from level 9 to 6: Salon de Ire

Hi, this is Daram. It had been just over a month since my last color, and my roots were coming in while the color faded and got way too light. Worst of all, once my hair got lighter it looked frizzy and all the damaged bits showed up clearly, which bugged me so~~~ much. So I went to the salon to cover it with a darker color.

Where is Salon de Ire in Sadong, Ansan?

This time I visited Salon de Ire, located near the Sadong Administrative Welfare Center. It's an easy spot to find from the Sadong or Bono-dong area of Ansan.

Salon de Ire is closed every Monday, and since it's a one-person salon, reservations are required! You can book through Naver or by phone.

Salon de Ire uses genuine Shiseido products, and there's a parking space right next to the salon.

For the Chuseok holiday, the salon is open as usual on Monday, September 21, and closed from September 25 to 28. Keep that in mind if you're planning a visit!

Salon de Ire doesn't charge extra for length, and the prices are reasonable overall. A full color with genuine Shiseido products for around ₩100,000... such a good deal.

There were about four or five chairs, and overall the space felt clean and spacious.

My hair before the color: faded to level 9

This is my hair right before the full color. It was such a mess. The color had faded so much that it was overall light, the roots coming in were dark, the middle was a bit darker than the top, and the ends were damaged and even lighter — total chaos. I decided I couldn't leave it like that any longer, so I came in, and seeing the result, I was so glad I did hahaha.

Level 9 to level 6: the consultation with the stylist

Before coloring, my hair was around level 9, and my goal was just to cover it a little darker! When I told the stylist that, she said lowering it by 2-3 levels would mean it stays less light even after the color fades, so we decided on level 6. (The director gives great consultations and is super kind.)

The product used for the color was Shiseido. I got colored to level 6~

Scalp and hair protectant, then how long the color took

Before applying the dye, she applied scalp protectant and hair protectant. It's a spray-type product, so it comes out with a little psst, and it felt so cooling on my scalp. It was hot that day and my scalp was warm, so this was like lowering the temperature with the protectant (?).

Once the dye was all applied, it was time to wait.

Snack time while I waited~ Sipping iced coffee to stay awake... every time I come to the salon I get so sleepy.

The result: level 6 Shiseido full color

Ta-da! The finished look. The before/after is undeniable... seeing it like this really makes me feel how important color is. With the hair color settled into one tone, it feels calmer and just clean overall.

And one great thing about Shiseido products is that they don't leave the hair feeling stiff. The hair looks a lot softer too, right? Totally satisfied. Even the next day when I washed my hair, it didn't feel stiff at all, which was so nice. The prices are reasonable and they're great at what they do, so definitely worth a visit.
