Jeonpo-dong beauty salon lash lift with black tinting: Double D

Lash lifts are so convenient that I get them regularly, but after about two months mine had fallen out and I was getting self-conscious, so I went straight out to get another one. The place I visited is Double D, in Jeonpo-dong, Busanjin-gu, Busan, close to Bujeon Station.

How to walk to Double D from Bujeon Station

The address is Double D, 2nd floor, Unam Building, 595-21 Jeonpo-dong, Busanjin-gu, Busan. It's really only about 205m from Bujeon Station Exit 2, so it takes less than 3 minutes on foot!!

I came out of Exit 4 and walked up the alley between Compose Coffee and Boa Mart, and Unam Building came into view directly across from the front entrance of Lotte Castle Sky Apartments. There's a pork cutlet restaurant called Monkey Brown on the ground floor of the building entrance, so use that as a landmark and it's much easier to find.

There are several bus stops nearby too, so it was really convenient by public transport, and if you're coming by subway like I did, you'll really get there in 3 minutes. There's no parking support, so you'll need to use a nearby paid lot.

Double D hours, reservations and indoor slippers

Double D is open from 10am to 9pm and closed on Sundays. Right from the entrance, with DOUBLE D written large, the design feels polished, and once you open the door you're greeted with a sign asking you to change into indoor slippers. You take your shoes off and slip into comfortable slippers, so there's no need to worry even if you came in uncomfortable shoes haha.

I visited on a weekday afternoon, and since it runs on a reservation-only system, I was able to get straight into the treatment with no wait, which was another point I really liked.

What does Double D look like inside?

The interior is done up spacious and comfortable in white tones, with curved arch structures and wave-shaped mirrors placed here and there, so it's great for photos too. Personally I prefer this kind of calm, orderly atmosphere over a place decorated too flashily, so it suited me well.

The waiting area is spacious and comfortable, so it seems like it would be nice to wait there even if you come with a friend.

There's a little snack corner next to the water dispenser stocked with candy, gum, and various teas, and the waiting area has plants and fresh flowers placed around, so it felt more like walking into a home goods shop than a beauty salon.

Double D's base service is lash lifts, but they also run under-lash treatments, lash extensions, and waxing, and the perm types range from basic to black tinting to keratin, so you can choose according to your taste and lash condition.

Before the treatment, the owner carefully looked at my eye shape, face structure, and even the distance between my eyes and brows while doing the consultation. She kindly asked what curl or shape I wanted, and understood exactly what I meant right away~! It's not about just applying whatever design is trending — making a natural result that fits your own face proportions is the most important thing, right?

C-curl lash lift before and after, and how long it holds

When I finished and looked in the mirror, I could immediately feel how much sharper my eyes looked. The naturally lifted C-curl gives my eyes life even on days I don't wear makeup, so I really felt like coming here for a Jeonpo lash lift was the right call. She told me the average hold time is 4-5 weeks, so I should be able to walk around with defined-looking eyes without mascara for a while.

What I asked for was a natural C-curl that lifts up without touching my eyelid, and she made it even more perfectly suited to me than I'd imagined, which made me so satisfied~ A lash lift isn't automatically pretty just because it curls up tightly.
