Today I'm introducing Gopchang119, located in Anjirang, Nam-gu, Daegu! When you think of Daegu, makchang (grilled beef abomasum) comes to mind first, but Daegu is also really famous for gopchang (grilled beef intestines) besides makchang‼️ The 2026 Anjirang Midnight Festa is also going on right now, so there were spots outside where you could eat like at an outdoor pojangmacha!

Getting to Gopchang119 from Anjirang Station
Get off at Exit 3 of Anjirang Station on Daegu Subway Line 1 and walk into the Anjirang gopchang alley! Fun fact: Daegu even has its own gopchang alley••

- 📍 20-2 Daemyeong-ro 36-gil, Nam-gu, Daegu, South Korea, 1st floor
- ⏰ 16:00 – 23:30 (closed every Monday)
- 🚘 Use the Anjirang Gopchang Alley public parking lot
Inside Gopchang119
There were about 8 seats inside, and on cooler days like these they keep the door open, which gives it a bit of an outdoor pojangmacha feel!

Gopchang119's menu
The menu at Gopchang119 has al-gopchang, vegetable gopchang, salt-grilled makchang, and salt-grilled chicken neck meat, plus beef gopchang hot pot! If you're torn over ordering à la carte, don't worry — there are set menus too!

For sides, you can add snow cheese fried rice, fried rice, glass noodle add-on, and snow cheese too, so it's worth adding those on!

Review, follow, and takeout perks
If you write a review, you can choose either a drink or alcohol, and if you follow the store's notifications, they'll give you cheese fried rice as a service item! Takeout orders also get ₩2,000 off, so it's worth writing a review and following before you eat, right?!

Gopchang119's side dishes
For side dishes, they gave us perilla leaves, garlic sauce, mayonnaise, cheongyang chili peppers, ssamjang (dipping paste), pickled radish, soy sauce, and even bean sprout soup! Giving out bean sprout soup as a side dish — the owner really knows what's up...🫶🏻🫰🏻

You can grab more side dishes yourself from the self-serve bar, but if you run low on mayonnaise or bean sprout soup, just ask the staff!

Gopchang119's A Set for two + glass noodle add-on
The two of us ordered the A Set, which is the vegetable gopchang with the amount of gopchang increased! We added glass noodles to the A Set too, and you absolutely have to add the glass noodles... highly recommend. The gopchang sauce soaks completely into the noodles, making them even more delicious....🤤🤤

You can dip it in various sauces like mayonnaise, vinegared garlic sauce, and soy sauce, and wrapping it with pickled radish and perilla leaves keeps it from getting boring, so you can enjoy it deliciously right to the end!! And you know the vegetables in vegetable gopchang are really good too, right ㅜ.ㅜ

The glass noodles were good enough to eat on their own, so adding them was definitely the right call‼️ Pairing it with a somaek (soju-and-beer mix) is an absolutely killer combination..🍺🍺

Finishing up with fried rice
What do you have to eat after vegetable gopchang? Fried rice, of course!!! We had the plain fried rice instead of the snow cheese fried rice! They took what was left over from the vegetable gopchang and fried it up with rice and seaweed flakes and brought it to us haha. Finishing with fried rice made the meal even more filling, so make sure you get the fried rice too!-!

Gopchang119 review
It's located near Anjirang Station, and you can get there through the Anjirang gopchang alley! Since it's in the gopchang alley, there are a lot of gopchang restaurants nearby, but this seemed to be the only vegetable gopchang place among them, which made it even more of a draw! They give you bean sprout soup as a side dish, and thanks to the oak smoking, the gopchang had no gamey smell at all! The ratio of vegetables to gopchang in the vegetable gopchang was just right, and even how well-cooked the vegetables were was perfect..🤩 If you're looking for a great vegetable gopchang spot around Anjirang, run straight to Gopchang119💨💨
