The Yangpyeong café I’m introducing today was a peaceful place to rest, away from city noise and surrounded by mountains.

Dotorigol Yangpyeong Garden Cafe is a large garden-style café where an open outdoor garden, tranquil pond, and neat indoor spaces come together beautifully!

Dotorigol Old-Fashioned Patbingsu with Mugwort Rice Cake

This signature patbingsu (Korean shaved ice with sweet red beans) has a crunchy traditional ice base topped with an adorable bear-shaped vanilla ice cream! It is generously filled with sweet red beans, injeolmi (roasted soybean powder rice cake), chewy mugwort rice cakes, cheese cubes, and cereal, so there is plenty to share among several people.

A Yangpyeong café for walks with your pet

At Dotorigol Yangpyeong Garden Cafe, you can enjoy a garden walk and a café break in nature all at once, making it a highly satisfying choice for a couples’ date or an outing with a pet! Walk around the reservoir trail and you might even meet some adorable ducks, haha.

There are separate pet-friendly seats in one corner of the outdoor garden, and the outdoor garden and dedicated area are well arranged, so it is great for taking a relaxed walk and resting with your pet :)

Floor-to-ceiling views from the first and second floors

The first-floor space has high ceilings, so it felt open and comfortable, with views through the floor-to-ceiling windows!

The moment I went upstairs, I fell for the view..! The pond and lush green scenery beyond the expansive windows were so beautiful.

The second floor was decorated like a little library! Haha.

I came here on an outing with my family, and both the shaved ice and drinks were delicious! Haha, the whole family was extremely satisfied!

If I visit Yangpyeong again, this is a café I would love to return to, haha.
