The place I’m introducing today is Daeshin Peanut Bread, a popular peanut-bread spot by Busan’s Seomyeon Station. 🥜 I’m usually a fan of easy snacks and baked treats, so I went to check it out myself. It was lovely to taste peanut bread filled with that wonderfully nutty peanut aroma! Freshly baked, piping-hot peanut bread also made such a great snack. 🫶🏻 I visited in person, enjoyed the peanut bread, and filled up on sweet, nutty snacks too!

The peanut-bread shop that people line up for at Seomun Market in Daegu has, happily, opened in Busan Seomyeon! As someone who loves anything nutty, I simply couldn’t resist 🥜🤎

Ordering 2 egg breads and 45 peanut breads
Have a look at the menu! We ordered 2 egg breads and 45 peanut breads. 🥜

They also sell roasted peanuts separately like this! I’ll have to try these next time 🫢 The inner thoughts of a peanut lover!

Honestly, anything made with peanuts is nutty, sweet, and delicious, isn’t it? Why are there so many delicious things in this world… 😮💨 When on earth am I supposed to diet...

How the warm peanut bread and egg bread tasted
They were carefully packing up each item we ordered! There were even clear instructions on the best way to enjoy the egg bread. I’ll have to try it that way at home! 😋 This bread lover is still searching for the very best way to eat bread today!

My order was ready! ✨ There was a whole pile of piping-hot peanut bread and egg bread. I started with the peanut bread! The instant I took a bite, that rich peanut aroma came through, and its gentle sweetness kept me reaching for more. 🤤 The outside was lightly crisp while the inside was moist and soft, so the texture was great too. The distinctive nuttiness spread subtly alongside the sweetness, and I also loved that it was not overwhelmingly sweet. Each piece was just the right size for one bite, so once I started picking them up one by one, I somehow kept eating. When eaten warm, the nutty aroma felt even more intense, so I think it really is best eaten right away when it has just come out. 🫢 The egg bread had fluffy, soft bread paired with the mild, nutty flavor of egg, giving it a charm quite different from the peanut bread. 🍳 Eating the mild egg bread alongside the sweet, nutty peanut bread worked so well that it was great to alternate between them! Both were even more delicious as snacks while they were warm. 💛
A Seomyeon snack that was nuttier when warm
Overall, Daeshin Peanut Bread was nutty and sweet, making it a delicious snack! 😋 The peanut bread in particular had an even fuller nutty flavor when warm, so I kept reaching for it. It was especially nice to be able to enjoy it in Seomyeon without going all the way to Seomun Market in Daegu, and next time I’ll have to try the roasted peanuts too! 🫢 A strong recommendation for peanut bread among Seomyeon eats!
