Uijeongbu Korean BBQ with a kids’ playroom: Muhan Paldo Daepae

In short

Muhan Paldo Daepae Uijeongbu Millak Branch is an all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ restaurant in Millak-dong, Uijeongbu. On our second visit with a child, the playroom-side seating and CCTV made dinner easy while we piled into minari, thin-sliced pork belly, ramen, and slushies. Verdict: a satisfying choice for family meals or group meat feasts.

A playroom and spacious seating—easy with children?

The space is divided on either side of the central self-service bar, so it seemed like it would feel less chaotic even when busy. The interior is large with lots of tables, and it looked convenient for groups.

Oh yeah, there’s a playroom too~ Joy finished eating first and ran around in there like mad hahaha. Meanwhile, Mom and Dad could eat at leisure—and she watched fewer phone videos too. It isn’t big, but I’m so grateful it’s there!

There are even seats beside the playroom so you can watch directly, plus playroom CCTV on the wall—you can keep an eye on the children while eating comfortably~ 👍 The owner’s thoughtfulness is exploding!

There is a ₩5,000 environmental charge for leftover food. Take only as much as you can eat, little by little!

Picking up meat accompaniments at the self-service bar

The bar was packed with fresh ingredients: minari (water parsley), perilla leaves, lettuce, bracken, ham, mushrooms, peppers, shredded scallions, and more! I especially love the minari-and-pork-belly combination, so I was thrilled to devour unlimited minari~~

You can eat as much rice as you want, and there are breakfast rolls too, so there are all sorts of ways to enjoy grilled meat!

There are eight different sauces, plus scallions, minced garlic, and Cheongyang chilies, so it looks easy to make your own sauce too! Joomma liked the signature soy sauce best.

Hangang ramen zone, tteokbokki, and slushies

The Hangang ramen zone. I’ve been seeing these Hangang ramen machines a lot lately—but what kinds of ramen are these... this is an all-you-can-eat pork place... There were so many varieties that I could have mistaken it for an unlimited ramen restaurant hahaha. I’ve never seen this many kinds before! Thoughtful, too, with Sari Gomtang and mild ramen for children!!

Hangang ramen zone with many ramen varieties

It would be good to stir the ramen a little while cooking... the noodles were slightly undercooked....ㅠ Still, it tasted amazing! Meat followed by ramen is the truth~~~ haha. You absolutely have to have it!!

I wasn’t expecting much from the tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), but it surprised me by being delicious hahaha. It could get overlooked because of the meat, but no no no~ The hot tteokbokki was so good!!!

Wow... when you want something refreshing after fatty food, slushies are the answer. A slushie is perfect for cleansing your palate after the meal! An absolute essential hahaha. Especially for children... it’s a must. How many times did my daughter have one, seriously haha. She may have eaten more than the meat hahaha. I recommend finishing with a slushie after your meat—it refreshes you~

Precious aprons to protect my clothes, and children’s tableware is provided too!

Trying the premium all-you-can-eat set for two

Premium all-you-can-eat set for two: ₩37,800; one elementary-school child’s all-you-can-eat set: ₩10,900; one drink: ₩2,000. We diligently piled up vegetables and meat! So much to take—it was busy busy~

Thin-sliced pork belly and vegetables for the meal

We tried grilling the meat with kimchi, bean sprouts, mushrooms, minari, and ham~ The meat had no off smell and was in good condition. Since it was thinly sliced, it cooked in no time and was easy to eat~ Janggeumi especially said the Korean pork thin slices were the tastiest hahaha. Honestly, Joomma was too busy eating whatever finished cooking... so I enjoyed everything-

It was so nice and easy to keep taking fresh vegetables without feeling burdened. We made lots of ssam (lettuce wraps)—such a fun time~

The pickled onions were delicious! The sauce was just right~

They’re also running a variety of review events, so you can eat meat and have some fun too—good good!!

Coffee and hovenia tea at the entrance waiting seats

There is coffee and warm hovenia tea at the entrance waiting seats, and it was nice and hot~ The hovenia tea was so delicious! After eating until truly full, we finished with a cup of tea~ haha

A satisfying, great-value family meal

This was such a great-value meal, truly! For ₩18,900, we could enjoy not only meat but also unlimited ramen, tteokbokki, slushies, and more, making it an extremely satisfying meal! The ingredients, including the meat and vegetables, were fresh and tasty, so Muhan Paldo Daepae is a Millak-dong pork-belly spot where you can enjoy yourself without worrying about the meat quality at all.

The interior is spacious with lots of tables, so it would be perfect for work dinners or gatherings! There were many families dining with children, and with the playroom, it was so easy to eat comfortably with a child—completely, totally satisfying. I really, truly recommend it!
