Flowerpot Cafe Gojan Branch is a large bakery café in Gojan-dong, Ansan, right in front of Ansan AW Convention Center. On a sudden whim on a weekday, I went to visit my mom, and afterward we were wondering where to get coffee in Gojan-dong — so we headed to Flowerpot Cafe, a large café here that stays open late!

I'd been a few times before, and since it's so spacious it's comfortable for groups, families, or couples on a date to just relax and hang out. It's also right in front of Ansan AW Convention Center, so it's great to stop by after a wedding.

Flowerpot Cafe, a bakery and dessert spot in Gojan-dong, Ansan, also sells bingsu (shaved ice dessert), has a wide range of drinks, and a huge variety of bread. There's red bean bingsu, injeolmi (rice cake) bingsu, and mango bingsu with a coffee set, plus a sandwich + coffee set — great if you want to keep costs down while trying what you're craving.

-The vibe inside- The store is really spacious, so it's good for coming alone or with a group. It seems like a good spot for working too.

They knead dough carefully starting before dawn every day and bake a variety of bakery items on-site, so you can catch the aroma of freshly baked bread whenever you visit.

Bakery selection and drinks for kids

The bakery selection was really varied — cakes, breads, baked cookies, all made in-house and looking delicious! They even had the trendy Wakppu salt bread that's popular these days ㅠㅠ I was too full to try it, so unfortunately I passed, but I'll try it someday hahaha.

There are also drinks made for kids, so it'd be nice to bring children along, and since they sell cakes, they have cake candles too, handy for buying on special occasions.

Self-service packing station and microwave

There's a self-service wrapping station too, so it's handy to wrap up leftovers in a hygiene bag to take home. There's also a microwave, so you can warm up your bread lightly before eating.

Three breads and two drinks ordered with mom

After some deliberating, mom and I ordered blueberry cream cheese bread, olive cheese ciabatta, an egg tart, an iced choco latte, and a mango smoothie.

Iced choco latte

The iced choco latte was sweet with a rich chocolate flavor — delicious! It wasn't an artificial chocolate taste, so the richness was really nice.

Mango smoothie

The mango smoothie was sweet and refreshing, and the mango flavor came through well, making it easy to enjoy without any fuss.

The breads looked so appetizing that I ended up ordering three of them hahaha.

Olive cheese ciabatta

First, the olive cheese ciabatta — I already love ciabatta, and this one was studded with olives and cheese, chewy, with olives popping up in every bite. Delicious! It'd be great to just buy the bread on its own for breakfast, or to come here for brunch.

Egg tart

The egg tart was packed full of egg filling, soft and delicious, and the pastry shell felt on the thinner side. No eggy smell at all — easy to enjoy!

Blueberry cream cheese bread

The blueberry cream cheese bread was packed inside with blueberry compote and cream cheese — I loved how generous the filling was, and the bread itself was so soft and fluffy that the combination worked really well! Blueberry and cream cheese together — how could that combo ever not be delicious~~!!
