Foot callus care with 3D foot scan for high arches in Ilsan: Refus
In short
Refus Ilsan Janghang is a foot care studio specializing in calluses, ingrown toenails, and toenail fungus on the 2nd floor of Ilsan Western Dome Building A in Goyang, Gyeonggi. The visit started with a 3D foot scan that revealed high arches and early bunion progression before moving into thick callus removal, a callus-softening solution, steam towel, and moisturizing. It's a treatment that leaves you understanding your own feet, not just a one-time buff, so a return visit is planned.

My feet have always been on the dry side, so even on hot summer days my heels get rough haha ㅠㅠ Since having my baby, foot care has fallen even further down my priority list. Especially with parenting — you're on your feet all day or carrying the baby around, so your feet get tired a lot, but I never actually took the time to look closely at their condition.

So this time I went to Refus Ilsan Janghang and got a really satisfying foot callus treatment ☺️ At first I thought it would just be simple callus removal, but they scanned my feet first and explained the shape and characteristics before starting, so it felt way more thorough and professional than I expected 😊 Today I'm recording my honest review of this Ilsan foot callus care experience!
Refus Ilsan Janghang location and parking

It's in Western Dome Building A, right next to ID Hair, so it's easy to find! Park in the Building A lot and take the staircase straight ahead — easy to locate 🙂
For ingrown toenail and toenail fungus care in Ilsan, it's Refus Ilsan Janghang!
The limits of doing foot callus care at home
Normally my foot care was just using a foot file or callus remover at home! But when you do it yourself, you don't really know how far to go, and since you're not looking at the whole state of your foot, you end up repeating the same spots over and over. And it never gets done thoroughly ㅠㅠ This time I wanted a more professional look at my foot condition, so I visited Refus Ilsan Janghang!!

Walking in, the interior was as clean as a café — the kind of vibe where even first-timers feel comfortable getting a consultation and treatment 👍🏻 What I loved most was that they don't just jump straight into treatment — there's a step where they check your foot condition first! Plus there are 10+ Fußpfleger who completed German professional training on staff, so it's professional and treatments can happen simultaneously 👍🏻
Seeing my own feet for the first time: the thorough 3D scan
On the first visit, they scan your feet to check the current shape and characteristics 🦶🏻

Honestly, I'd always just assumed 'my feet are probably shaped like this' without ever actually analyzing them in detail!! But once they explained my foot shape and features through the 3D scan, I learned things I'd never known before, and understood why foot care isn't just about removing calluses — checking your current condition first really matters! Since everyone's foot shape and nail condition differs, I liked that they explain based on your actual state instead of treating everyone the same way 🤔 If you're curious about ingrown toenail care or foot callus care in Ilsan, I think this kind of consultation process would be especially helpful on a first visit 🦶🏻👍🏻

Turns out I have "high arches" — the opposite of flat feet
After the foot analysis, they told me I have "high arches" (pes cavus), the opposite of flat feet! Because the arch is high, more weight lands on the front of the foot and the heel, which is exactly where calluses tend to build up, apparently!

They also noted that while my bunions aren't severe, my left foot is showing slight early progression. Overall, they said my feet have a high arch but good balance ☺️

Getting precise measurements and data from the latest 3D foot analysis devices like BodyScreen and PodoScreen, then a personalized 1:1 care solution — it really built my trust in the place!
The main foot callus care process begins
Once my foot condition was confirmed, the real treatment began!

[Before treatment] Since we normally wear socks or shoes all day, we don't often get a close look at our heels or soles. So seeing my feet before treatment, I thought, 'wow, this needed more care than I realized' 🥲 I was treated by Fußpfleger Choi Minseo, who didn't rush through it but carefully checked each part of my foot before working on it!
First, she cleared away the thick calluses,

then used a callus-softening solution to dissolve them before doing a careful final cleanup.

She kept explaining which part she was working on along the way, which made it feel so much more comfortable! There was a spot with a small wound where I'd picked at a bad callus myself, and she handled that area with extra care — I was genuinely touched 🥹 It really confirmed that getting your feet done by a professional makes a huge difference 👍🏻
Cleaner, smoother feet after the treatment

They finished with a steam towel and moisturizer! Seeing smooth, baby-soft feet again after so long felt amazing 🥰

After the treatment, my soles and heels felt so much cleaner and smoother 🦶🏻🦶🏻 What I appreciated most was learning where I tend to build up calluses and how to take care of my feet going forward, so it felt like way more than a one-and-done treatment! I once visited a callus care shop near my old office because of the same issue, and comparing that to this — this was so much more satisfying and professional. Now I get why Refus Ilsan Janghang is known for the best foot callus care in Ilsan 👍🏻

Especially in a season like now when we're wearing sandals and slippers more often, foot condition tends to be top of mind, and I think a lot of people feel like they need foot care as the seasons change! If you've been putting off dealing with foot calluses like I was, it might be worth trying a professional treatment at least once ☺️
Fußpfleger Choi Minseo's thoroughness stood out

Above all, Fußpfleger Choi Minseo, who worked on my feet, was so kind and thorough that I'm planning to come back whenever I need foot care again 💛 If you're dealing with ingrown toenails or toenail fungus in Ilsan, definitely ask Refus Ilsan Janghang about it 🦶🏻👍🏻 Showing my calluses at first felt a bit embarrassing (haha), but this wasn't just 'got my calluses removed, done' — it felt more like I actually got to know my own feet. I'm going to try to keep up with regular foot care before the seasons change :-)
Before visiting, I'd recommend contacting the shop about the treatment you want and available appointment times! Parking is easy too, right in Western Dome Building A, so the whole visit from start to finish was so convenient 🙂

That was my very satisfying review of the foot callus care at Refus Ilsan Janghang 🦶🏻
