Suwon restaurant for corn pizza and spicy rigatoni: Low Five Sinpung
In short
Low Five Sinpung is an Italian restaurant in Haenggung-dong, Suwon, Gyeonggi. Two women tried a corn-and-pepperoni half-and-half pizza, Alfredo cream pasta, and spicy shrimp rigatoni. Verdict: Don’t skip the golden, chewy pizza crusts, haha.

Low Five Sinpung exterior and what to know before visiting

There are two Low Five Italian restaurants in Haenggung-dong. The one I visited was the Sinpung branch!
It is open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., with a break from 3 p.m. to 4:50 p.m. Last orders are at 7:40 p.m., and the break time applies on weekends too! It is regularly closed every Wednesday. Parking is unavailable, so I recommend using a nearby public lot. It is right next to Hwaseong Haenggung Palace, so the Hwaseong Haenggung roadside public parking lot is my recommendation.

Low Five Sinpung is dog-friendly, but there are rules for bringing dogs inside, so please check those before you visit.

Low Five Sinpung is very popular, so waiting is almost a must. Reservations are not available; you have to add your name to the waitlist! It seems there can be a wait even on weekdays, but on weekends, you should pretty much expect one. That is why I recommend a weekday.

There is seating on the outdoor terrace too, so it would be nice on a cool day ^^
Inside atmosphere and how to order

Here is the interior. Such a vibe~~ There were tables for two as well as larger groups :) The cutlery was already set out, and you can help yourself to Parmesan and hot sauce~

To order, just scan the QR code and place your order~! If that is difficult, ask a staff member. The staff are kind, haha.
What we ordered, from corn pizza to rigatoni

This is the menu~ Low Five is most famous for its corn pizza!
- Half-and-half (corn, pepperoni) ₩26,000
- Alfredo cream pasta ₩18,000
- Shrimp spicy rigatoni ₩18,000
- Drinks ₩3,000
This is what we ordered~ The two of us absolutely demolished three dishes, hahaha.

These are the dishes we ordered. Let me show you more closely~!
Corn-and-pepperoni half-and-half

They say Low Five is famous for corn pizza, so I was going to try it—and then I saw they had half-and-half?!? So we ordered it to try two flavors, haha. You can choose the pizzas, and I picked corn and pepperoni!

With generous pepperoni and cheese, the savory flavor was...! It was sweet, with that distinctive cheesy taste! Delicious! The pizza was pretty big too!

I think they torch the corn! There were charred bits, and those give it that flame-kissed flavor, hahaha.

It was loaded with corn, and I loved that little pop when you bit into it. The sweetness of the corn worked so well with all the toppings. I could see why it is so popular, hahaha.

But I think the key to Low Five’s pizza is the crust. The outside was golden, while the inside was really chewy!! If only there had been garlic dipping sauce, I would have kept dipping it... haha. On its own, it was nutty and savory. I dipped mine in the pasta sauce, and it was delicious? Definitely eat the crust :) You also have to try these pickles, hahaha. They seem homemade... though I am not certain, haha. They are delicious! They were not overly sour or anything. And for a pickle refill, you need to ask a staff member.
Alfredo cream pasta

Cream pasta with shrimp and thick-cut bacon in a rich cream sauce. It had a slight kick, but it was still easy enough for anyone to eat.

The sauce was quite thick and clingy too, so it coated the pasta nicely and tasted great ^^
Spice warning: shrimp spicy rigatoni

Just like the name says, spicy! If you cannot handle heat, this is spicy, so keep that in mind! I did not notice it at first, but the heat gradually came through.... haha.

The sauce felt a little like rosé? Like a spicy rosé sauce?? It soaked into the wide rigatoni and was delicious! Spicy but tasty, hahaha. And I really loved the texture of the shrimp! The shrimp were fairly large too, and nice and moist, so they were good. If you want bold, tasty pasta, I recommend this one!!
After exploring the place, I found everything generally delicious. There is a reason it is so popular, haha. Please do try the pizza crusts, hahaha. They are seriously delicious, hahaha. Hehe.
