Jeong Jiyeong Coffee Roasters Starfield Suwon Branch is on the 2nd floor of Starfield Suwon, right next to Gourmet Street. It's Suwon's famous roastery café, really well known for its wholesale coffee, and I was surprised to find it inside Starfield Suwon too!

No seats even on a weekday, so the coffee went out as takeout

Even though I came on a weekday, there wasn't a single seat open, so I ended up getting takeout 🥹 I was curious about the coffee, and with this many people around my expectations shot up ✨ I definitely want to sit and dine in next time!

The staff were so kind that I stood there deliberating what to try, and in the end I ordered an americano and a Summer Latte 💞.

The inside was bigger and had a better vibe than I expected, so no wonder it's so popular! Walking around with my takeout, I noticed everyone else had a Jeong Jiyeong Coffee Roasters cup in hand too — confirmed hot spot.

The clean interior and the coffee itself were so deep and delicious that I now want to check out the Haenggung branch too! You can even smell the beans before you order, which shows how much pride they take in their coffee — makes it easy to trust.

Coconut Coffee or Summer Latte: which one to order?

I really went back and forth between the two signature drinks, the Coconut Latte and the Summer Latte. When I asked a staff member, she said it comes down to preference — the sweetness is similar, but it depends on whether you want more of the nutty ice cream flavor or more coconut aroma — so I went with the Summer Latte!

I also spotted Suwon's famous frog mascot around the store! It was fun just looking around.

How did the Summer Latte taste, shared with mom?

My order came out 🫶 My mom and I were both exhausted from taking care of the baby, and honestly there's no bigger healing than a cup of coffee — luckily our little one fell asleep right then, so we chatted and relaxed together 👶🏻💞.

The staff-recommended Summer Latte hit the spot exactly the way I wanted. My mom also loved the clean, fragrant coffee and already declared she wants to come back.

I'd genuinely recommend Jeong Jiyeong Coffee Roasters as a café pick for Starfield Suwon! The Coconut Coffee is great too, but the nutty ice cream note in the Summer Latte really got me. I've already promised my husband we'll come here together next.
