Mini Male is a café with a small, cute sign nestled among countless office buildings.

The sign was designed as minimally as the name suggests, which I found charming. The shop has floor-to-ceiling glass windows, so the interior is clearly visible from outside and looks clean.

What's the interior and seating like?

The interior is modern, giving a really clean, well-maintained feeling. The kitchen is completely open, too, so they clearly have to pay careful attention to hygiene.

There's also a terrace zone outside with round tables like these, so the seating options are varied and the space feels spacious. Of course, there are glass doors here too, so you can sit comfortably in the cool even on this side.

Menu and dessert display

The menu features the signature Helsinki latte, along with special cold brew, fruit latte, and fresh fruit juices — plenty of options prepared for people who can't drink coffee too.

For desserts, you pay first and then take them right from here. Tiramisu, cheesecake, and milk cream cake were on display, and both the size and quality looked great. That levain cookie in particular looked quite hefty in person.

Beans, drip bags, and catering setup

This is a place that's serious about coffee, so they also sell coffee beans separately, as well as drip bags. Being right by so many offices, this seems like a nice, light gift option for whenever a gift is needed.

This catering setup is also really thoughtfully done. They sell cookies and Helsinki lattes in bottles like these, so for a company workshop or event, handing these out one by one would be simple and impressive.

How the Helsinki latte and iced americano tasted

And here's what came out — the Helsinki latte, iced americano, and tiramisu set. Clean and pretty, with nothing extraneous. The americano had a nicely balanced acidity and nuttiness, a genuinely tasty americano flavor.

The Helsinki latte was smooth and sweet with no bitterness. It felt like a proper sugar recharge, so it'd be great to drink when you're feeling low on energy.

So how was the tiramisu?

The tiramisu looked incredibly delicious. Even in eating it, the moisture from the cream inside had soaked so gently into the sponge that you couldn't tell where the cream ended and the sponge began — it went down that smoothly.

Tips for a lunchtime visit

I've come here during lunch before, and there were tons of office workers looking to grab a coffee after eating! For lunchtime, I'd recommend pre-ordering with that QR code. Also worth remembering: there's a discount for takeout.
