Kid-friendly gomtang restaurant at Lotte Dept. Store Dongtan: Baekok

There are seriously so many restaurants in the basement food court at Lotte Dongtan, but today I want to introduce a Korean restaurant gem: Baekok.

Out of all the Dongtan Lotte food court spots, today I visited the Korean restaurant Baekok.

Okay to bring the kids? There's a kids' gomtang

Dongtan Lotte is great for bringing kids along, so there are tons of strollers around :) And Baekok even has a separate kids' gomtang (rice soup)!

Parking time rules at Lotte Department Store Dongtan

Parking at Dongtan Lotte is free for the first 30 minutes, then 1 hour with ₩20,000+ spent, 2 hours with ₩50,000+, 3 hours with ₩80,000+, and 4 hours with ₩100,000+. This applies based on combined same-day purchase receipts.

Finding Baekok Dongtan

Baekok is easy to find — it's right in front of the Dongtan concept store Sisyphe.

After trying the pork gomtang and yeolgomtang

I ordered the pork gomtang and the yeolgomtang.

The yeolgomtang has a red broth, and while eating it my husband said it felt like a hangover cure even though he hadn't been drinking haha. Definitely recommend it for that.

I ordered the regular pork gomtang — personally I'm not great with pork gomtang because of that funky smell it sometimes has, but this one was clean and delicious :)

They even give you dental floss — nice touch, wow.

I'd recommend Baekok, a clean and tasty Korean restaurant at Lotte Department Store Dongtan.
