A Korean set meal surrounded by nature in Cheoin-gu, Yongin
If you love soy-marinated crab, this is a place to put on your radar. I went to Sotbap Hansang in Cheoin-gu, Yongin, for its female crab soy-marinated crab set meal, and I was really pleased with everything from the neat side dishes to the generous crab.
Sotbap Hansang sits amid the quiet natural surroundings of Cheoin-gu, Yongin. Away from the bustle of the city, it felt like a lovely place to enjoy an unhurried meal—perfect for a family outing or a meal with your parents 😆 The scenery was so pretty in photos too, so it would be great to pair with a drive.
It is open daily from 10:00 to 21:00, including all public holidays and major holiday periods. Hours can change, so I recommend checking before you go!

There is a large dedicated parking lot in front, so parking was not a concern.

With plenty of parking spaces, even families visiting together can use it comfortably!

A distinctive exterior and relaxing scenery
The first thing that caught my eye when I arrived was the building's distinctive exterior.

Its individual building design, unlike a typical Korean set-meal restaurant, made it easy to spot even from a distance.

With mountains and trees all around, I felt refreshed before the meal had even begun.

The spacious parking lot and natural scenery made the visit itself enjoyable.

A comfortable interior for family gatherings
Inside, everything felt clean and orderly. The tables were well spaced, making it comfortable to eat, and it looked ideal for a family gathering or a meal with parents.

More than anything, when the food arrived, it had that signature neatness of a Korean set meal, which made me even more excited. It is the kind of atmosphere that would satisfy anyone looking for a Korean set meal in Cheoin-gu!

They also offer add-ons including barley corvina, beef yukjeon (pan-fried battered beef), and mung bean pancakes, so you can order to suit your taste. 🥢 Basic side dishes

The first thing I noticed when the table was set was how cleanly and neatly the side dishes were arranged. There were many dishes, including japchae (stir-fried glass noodles), seasoned vegetables, kimchi, and pickles, each prepared with care. They were not overly seasoned, so they went well with the main dish.

Female crab soy-marinated crab set meal full of roe and innards
This time, we ordered two female crab soy-marinated crab set meals at ₩32,000 each.
The crabs were packed with meat, vivid roe, and plenty of innards, so they looked special from the start. One bite in, it was clear this was not simply salty soy-marinated crab—the savory depth really came through.

The crab meat was tender and moist, while the roe was wonderfully rich, and I immediately understood why people call it a rice thiefㅠㅠ It was especially good with the pot rice!!

Put the crab meat and roe over steaming, freshly cooked rice and mix it together, and the flavor fills your mouth—I just kept reaching for more haha.

The side dishes were clean and neatly prepared overall, making the main dish stand out even more.

After trying it myself, I understood why so many people come to Sotbap Hansang!! It was just one meal, but the spread made me feel well looked after, so I was very satisfied!
If you want to enjoy a neatly prepared Korean set meal alongside generous female crab soy-marinated crab, this is a Yongin restaurant I would recommend!! From the clean side dishes and filling pot rice to the roe-packed crab, there was not a single disappointing part.
It is a great Cheoin-gu Korean set-meal restaurant for a family meal, a meal with parents, or when you want to enjoy something special. Sotbap Hansang satisfied me with both its food and atmosphere—I am 100% willing to return, and next time I want to try the barley corvina set meal!
