Anyang bar with group seating and makgeolli: Bueongi Sanjang Beomgye
In short
Bueongi Sanjang Beomgye Branch is a bar near Beomgye Station in Anyang, Gyeonggi, with spacious group seating and a mountain-lodge-like atmosphere. On a second stop with my foodie friend, we had yuksaejeon, muksabal, Buja Makgeolli, Naru Saeng Makgeolli, and Jipyeong Makgeolli. Bueongi Sanjang Beomgye Branch is an easy place for one or two relaxed drinks.

I went to Bueongi Sanjang with my foodie friend from Anyang. Beomgye seemed like the busiest area in Anyang, and Bueongi Sanjang felt like the bar that had group seating completely covered.

An exterior atmosphere I loved from the walk up to the second floor
My foodie friend said they had been to Bueongi Sanjang a few times. Ohhh, really? It was a name I had never heard before, so seeing my friend talk about it all excited made me wonder if the atmosphere was that good~

I took in the exterior before entering the building. Even from outside, the atmosphere was seriously nice~

It is on the second floor, so you can take the elevator up or use the stairs.

I took the stairs, and even the stairway was decorated so prettily that I was quietly admiring it as I went up~~~

A spacious, mountain-lodge-like interior with group seating

Once we went inside, my friend asked, “Doesn't it feel like we're inside a mountain lodge???” Yep, love it~~ The atmosphere is sooo good~~ haha

Wood-toned tables and chairs throughout.

And all the windows were opened wide, making it feel airy and open, as if a weight had lifted off my chest—just like being at a mountain lodge.

The place was so spacious that it would be really great for coming with lots of people,

and it could easily accommodate groups, too.

It felt like there could hardly be a better place when you want a refreshing beer with acquaintances, your partner, or friends~
An endless menu, plus yuksaejeon and muksabal
Each table had a mini kiosk for ordering. There were seriously so many menu items. My friend scrolled down... and there was no end lol. Since it was my first time, I just watched while my friend ordered.

Yuksaejeon (beef and shrimp pancakes)

Muksabal (chilled acorn jelly soup). Buja Makgeolli~ lol. My friend said we should reflect on our wish to become rich while drinking “rich” makgeolli lol
Yuksaejeon, a perfect match for makgeolli
Yuksaejeon??? My friend said they had ordered it in advance, so I just went along with it.

When our order arrived, it looked so generously piled up that I was like, “Ohhh, what is this???”

I asked, and it was beef pancakes and shrimp pancakes. As expected, makgeolli and jeon (savory Korean pancakes) are just meant to be together~

Muksabal that cooled and refreshed my mouth
Next, the muksabal we ordered came out quickly~ My mouth was getting a bit heavy from the pancakes and makgeolli...

The muksabal made my mouth cool and refreshed, so of course my foodie friend!!! There seemed to be a reason behind every single menu choice. This is why everyone looks for someone experienced, I’m telling you lol
So many drinks and a makgeolli day
There were seriously so many kinds of alcohol.

They also had sets, and there were so many kinds of sets that my eyes went wide~ There were lots of drinks I had never seen before, too.

Today, my foodie friend and I made it a makgeolli day~ We went for makgeolli.

Starting with Buja Makgeolli,

Naru Saeng Makgeolli, which had apparently won the Korean Traditional Liquor Award,

and Jipyeong Makgeolli. I was getting pleasantly tipsy, so I checked the alcohol percentage in the makgeolli with the next day's condition in mind~~~~ lol, but it didn't help much.
A Beomgye bar for an easy second round
Bueongi Sanjang, where I came for a second round with my foodie friend! I wondered what kind of place it was from the name alone, but I loved that it felt like stepping into a mountain lodge, and the space was sooooo wide open that it felt like a weight had lifted off my chest!

An easy one drink! An easy two drinks! That kind of place.
