Yangpyeong forest café outdoor seats with cup ramyeon: Dotorigol
In short
Dotorigol Yangpyeong Garden Cafe is a large garden café beside a forest reservoir on Gopdani-gil in Danwol-myeon, Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi. On a drive out from Seoul with her husband, the writer cooked cup ramyeon at an outdoor table and tried the owner's handmade Dotorigol set sandwich and the acorn signature latte, with cup noodles at 3,000 won. Between the water views, the mountain air and the small library on the second floor, Dotorigol is a café worth the trip back.

I'd been in training at the education center all week and only just got home after a day away. (I have to go back next week too, haha.) When I get home on weekends I have to spend time with my husband too — he's been waiting for me all week, hehe.
My husband and I said, let's drive out near Seoul and go to a big café! And we found Dotorigol, a café tucked deep in the forest along Gopdani-gil. It was so healing that I wanted to recommend it, so here's the post. Let's get started~!

Where Dotorigol is on Gopdani-gil, and where to park

Tucked deep in the forest along Gopdani-gil, Dotorigol is one of Yangpyeong's iconic nature-friendly rest spots, where a calm little reservoir meets lush mountains like a painting. Even the street name, Gopdani-gil, sounds so poetic, doesn't it? When we arrived, an incredibly cute squirrel character was there to welcome us.

For guests arriving by car, there's plenty of spacious dedicated parking around the entrance and surrounding area, so you can relax without worrying about parking even on busy weekends or holidays! No need to worry even if you're a new driver~
Lots of families, couples, and groups visit too, and everyone looked like they were having a great time.

A family of geese was gathered on one side of the water. Little kids really loved them, haha.
Reservoir walking path, waterfall and outdoor terrace
The moment you step out of the car, the clean, fresh forest air and the cool, gentle breeze are more than enough to blow away all the stress and fatigue built up from daily life.
One of Dotorigol's biggest charms is the quiet, carefully built walking path along the reservoir and the man-made waterfall with its refreshing sound. Even though it was clearly hot outside, being in a forest café made it feel cool and crisp, haha.

There are plenty of tables and parasols scattered across the outdoor terrace and garden, so on a sunny day or when a light breeze is blowing, you can sit outside, sip your coffee, and take your time enjoying both lake-gazing and mountain-gazing at once!

After looking around outside a lot, let's head into the café~
Ramyeon at a café? The noodle corner and cup noodle prices
There are baby chairs, so parents with little ones can sit their kids down and relax comfortably too~

The ramyeon corner was the first thing I noticed!! It's my first time seeing a café sell ramyeon, haha. I thought about what to eat and decided to try Wang Ttukkeong, which I used to eat a lot back in school! Han River ramyeon + pickled radish 4,800 / cup noodles 3,000.
It's a café that also sells slime~ Kids would probably love it? You can take photos like this too~ and apparently if you scan the QR code below you can save it in color~~
Indoor seating and the small library upstairs

I could tell a lot of groups visit here — there are so many chairs at each table, haha. These days when I go to cafés with my colleagues we usually run out of chairs and have to grab some from other tables... so it was nice to have plenty here!!
Are we all living like this these days?

The second floor has restricted access due to safety risks from the stairs and layout! For visits with kids, the first floor and the outdoor area seem like plenty~

I did manage to go up to the second floor~ and it was decorated like a small library. I really love sipping a latte while reading a book, and I have no idea where the owner collected so many books — really impressive!!

There are little phrases written here and there too, so it feels like the café is run by a really thoughtful owner.
Window seats with a full reservoir view
How's the floor-to-ceiling window view at the Yangpyeong garden café? Looking out at the lake and lake-gazing, it really felt like enjoying a leisurely weekend. Blue sky, green forest view — I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to heal.

They also played emotional hip-hop as BGM, which really helped set the mood for lake-gazing^^
There was a picture diary on one wall — looked like it was written by some sweet-hearted kid, haha. It made my heart feel a bit cleaner just reading it.
What we ordered: cup ramyeon, acorn signature latte, Dotorigol set

There were so many different menu items I had a hard time deciding. What we ended up ordering was cup noodles, the Acorn Signature Latte, and the Dotorigol Set!!

My husband asked me to buy him bubbles. I must've been hungry — even the snacks looked really tempting.

Pouring water into the Wang Ttukkeong and lake-gazing while waiting the three minutes. Cup noodles eaten outdoors taste like honey.

After finishing the cup noodles, the sandwich and our ordered coffee came out one after another.
The owner's handmade Dotorigol set sandwich

Wow... the owner's handmade sandwich. The whole spread was so good — is that a strawberry jam and a sauce for drizzling over the salad? It'd been a while since we'd had such a delicious sandwich, and my husband and I were genuinely touched.

It normally comes with egg too, but I asked them to leave it out since my husband has an egg allergy!! I can't even imagine how much better it would've been with the egg.

With each bite, the crunchy texture of fresh vegetables and the savory, salty flavor of cheese and ham come together richly, while a mild, not-too-strong sauce lets the ingredients' natural flavors shine.
What does the acorn signature latte taste like?

A soft, chewy house-made special cream and nutty milk layered in the perfect ratio — the Acorn Signature Latte... it was so delicious I begged my husband to come back again.

The sandwich paired so well with both the Americano and the signature latte — this is a café where I want to shout a hundred times that I'm glad we came..

Even Haribo jelly, my husband's favorite^^ The Yangpyeong garden café.. more than the best.
Is Dotorigol worth the drive from Seoul? Wrap-up
I highly recommend Dotorigol Yangpyeong Garden Cafe — easy to reach by a short drive near Seoul, yet worlds away from a plain city café with its overwhelming natural scenery. MayNine Pick!
