Jeongyuk Mart is a butcher shop located at 340 Yongmun-ro, Yongmun-myeon, Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do, 1st floor. There's no dedicated parking lot, but I was able to park briefly near the shop while buying meat.

From the entrance, big signs for 1++ hanwoo kkotdeungsim (marbled ribeye) and special cuts greeted me, so it was easy to find. Again — no separate parking lot, but brief parking near the shop while buying meat was fine!

Stepping inside, the whole store was really well kept, and the display cases were clearly zoned out. Since it's a direct-sale shop supplied from the NongHyup Eumseong slaughterhouse, it was piled high with fresh cuts butchered right there in the store.

In particular, saeupsal and deungsim — arguably the most delicious and popular hanwoo cuts — could be bought separately. Getting this prized saeupsal at 200g for the ₩30,000s felt like genuinely excellent value.

The staff were welcoming and happy to guide me, so I could browse comfortably for whatever meat I wanted. The pleasant atmosphere made looking around enjoyable, and it was exactly the kind of Yangpyeong butcher shop that's perfect for anyone shopping before a pension stay or camping trip.

And what I really liked was that they sell stew meal kits and sauces together, ready-made for taking on a camping or pension trip. On one side of the shop there's ssamjang and cham sauce for barbecue, herb salt, butane gas, and even stew meal kits and wrap vegetables to cook alongside the meat.

No need to stop at a separate mart — you can shop for meat, sauces and stew all at once, which cuts prep time dramatically. That's another reason I'd recommend this Yangpyeong butcher shop.

And thoughtfully, when you buy meat they throw in scallion shreds and scallion sauce, so eating barbecue outdoors felt clean and never greasy.
