Songdo Jonghap Eosijang (송도종합어시장) is a sashimi restaurant on the 1st floor of 165 Haedoji-ro, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, on Songdo 1-gongu. It's open daily from 10:30 to 00:40, and there's free 2-hour parking in the building.
Songdo Jonghap Eosijang is one of my all-time favorite neighborhood spots in Songdo. The lunch set is so hearty, such good value, and so tasty that whenever someone asks me for a budget-friendly sashimi place in Songdo, this is the one I recommend without fail‼️ If I can't decide what to eat for lunch, I just come here haha. It's always packed with delivery orders and dine-in customers — a genuinely good restaurant.
Where Songdo Jonghap Eosijang is and where to park
It's located on Songdo 1-gongu, right in front of Songdo Xi Harbor View and Songdo The Sharp Harbor View Complex 14. It's near the Korea Coast Guard headquarters, so it's easy to get to.
It's also close to all the Songdo landmarks — Songdo Central Park, G Tower, POSCO Tower, and the Art Center — so if you're looking for a good-value sashimi restaurant in Songdo, this is one I definitely recommend visiting!
🅿️ Parking: free for 2 hours inside the building. At lunch or dinner there's also plenty of street parking on both sides of the building, so parking is easy.
Inside Songdo Jonghap Eosijang and takeout for groups
Walking into the dining hall, it feels spacious and clean.
As soon as you walk in, on the right you'll see staff busy preparing group takeout orders. Every time I come, they're packing group orders. This place would actually be great for ordering as a group from an office too.
Menu and prices at Songdo Jonghap Eosijang
There's live-fish sashimi — halibut, rockfish, mullet, salmon, flounder, striped beakfish, red seabream, and sea bass — plus seasonal items like small and large yellowtail, salmon, and gizzard shad. Sashimi prices are good value too, with the small size starting around ₩30,000. There's also a wide range of sushi, so it's perfect if you want to eat both sashimi and sushi. We always order the lunch special for two. The udon here is also delicious, so we ordered one extra serving of that too.
What comes with the 12,000 won lunch sashimi set
Order the hoejeongsik (sashimi set meal) and you first get a generous spread of side dishes: white kimchi, macaroni salad, wasabi, ssamjang (dipping sauce), garlic, and chili peppers.
The macaroni salad is so good I kept going back for more.
Lettuce leaves for wrapping the sashimi.
Sweet and spicy fried chicken is also included.
Cabbage salad topped with toasted soybean powder, nutty and generous in portion.
Seaweed soup is also included.
Soft, savory, piping-hot steamed egg comes as standard too!
Shrimp sushi and live-fish sashimi sushi are served, two pieces per person. Getting sushi as part of the sashimi set meal is amazing 👍 and the sushi is chewy and delicious too.
Sea squirt also comes with the set. It was fresh, with no fishy smell, and tasty.
Even at ₩12,000 per person, the live-fish sashimi comes in a generous portion. Fresh and chewy!
Crispy, savory fried shrimp also comes out — it tastes freshly fried, super crunchy and delicious.
Adding a 6,500 won bowl of udon
The udon isn't included in the lunch set — we ordered it separately as an add-on. The portion is huge, we were stuffed to the brim... The udon noodles at Songdo Jonghap Eosijang are chewy and delicious. I don't usually eat udon at sashimi restaurants, but this one is good enough that I finish it to the last drop.
Spicy fish stew is included, rice costs extra
The spicy fish stew is included in the set meal. Steamed rice isn't included, so you'll need to order that separately! The stew is also super generous. Getting a spread this hearty and tasty for ₩12,000 — that's got to be top-tier value, right?!
The stew gets better the longer it simmers‼️ Eat it with a bowl of rice and you'll polish off the whole bowl in no time. Great value, generous portions, and good taste — Songdo Jonghap Eosijang is a place I fully recommend if you're looking for good food in Songdo. Definitely worth a visit 👏
