Jeju Korean buffet near Sanbangsan: unlimited dombegogi, Warang Warang

Traveling around Jeju, I ate so much amazing food — black pork, hairtail, abalone, you name it. But after eating out for days straight, I started craving a proper home-style meal with rice, soup, and side dishes, haha. So on a day we were heading toward Sanbangsan, we stopped for lunch at Warang Warang, a Korean buffet on Jeju.

A place where you can eat unlimited amounts from 40 dishes for just ₩12,000 as an adult!

Once I got there, I saw the sheer variety — dombegogi (Jeju-style boiled pork), jeyuk bokkeum (spicy stir-fried pork), japchae (glass noodle stir-fry), pumpkin pancakes, bibim mandu (dumplings in spicy sauce), pork cutlet, and all kinds of fried dishes, haha. Where is Warang Warang near Sanbangsan, and is there parking?

Warang Warang Korean Buffet is located on the 1st floor of 93-11 Chusa-ro, Daejeong-eup, Seogwipo-si, Jeju. It's conveniently placed for anyone doing the western Jeju sightseeing route, including Sanbangsan and Songaksan. There's a large parking lot right in front of the restaurant. We were on our way to Sanbangsan and stopped here looking for a lunch spot.

After eating nothing but Jeju's special dishes for days, having a proper Korean meal like this felt really good, haha.

Lunch-only hours: 11:00–15:00, closed Wednesdays

Warang Warang's hours are 11:00–15:00, with last order at 14:20, and it's closed every Wednesday.

There's no dinner service — it only operates during lunch hours, so make sure to check your timing before heading over. It's also closed September 24–25 for the Chuseok holiday, so if you're visiting Jeju around this Chuseok, keep that in mind.

How much is the buffet? 12,000 won per adult

These days, eating out as a family in Jeju can add up more than you'd expect.

Since this is a Korean buffet where everyone picks whatever they want to eat,

it felt a lot less burdensome to visit as a group. I also liked that there's a separate price for kids.^^

The variety was really impressive.

There were soup dishes too — regular soups, cold soups, and janchi guksu (noodle soup)^^

Japchae, pumpkin pancakes, bibim mandu, various fried items, pork cutlet, mapo tofu, jeyuk bokkeum, assorted namul (seasoned vegetables) and side dishes, plus rice and soup — it was all laid out.

Load up a plate with a bit of everything, then go back for more, haha.

Being able to pick as much of whatever you like is really the charm of a Korean buffet.

Of all the dishes, two were the most surprising!

It wasn't just the usual buffet side dishes — there were Jeju-flavored dishes too, which made a strong impression.^^ hahaha

Dombegogi, jeyuk bokkeum, and even seasoned crab were all included in the ₩12,000 buffet price, and there was even toast and ramyeon available^^ Kind of amazing, right, haha.

With everything from meat dishes to a wide range of Korean food available unlimited, this place seems perfect for anyone who wants to try a little bit of everything.
