Guesthouses are blowing up when it comes to Jeju travel, right? But when it actually comes to going, I worried — can I go alone, what if it's awkward,,

This time I went to Jejugetto Guesthouse, and the short version is: I had such a good time that all that worrying was pointless. I've laid it out in order — party / room condition / age group / booking tips.

Can you go to Jejugetto alone? The weekday Wednesday mood

Jejugetto Guesthouse is one of the bigger party guesthouses on Jeju Island. I went on a Wednesday, so I was really worried there'd be nobody there since it's a weekday, and that it'd be awkward.

But there were actually quite a lot of people, and the seating was mixed well, so it was fine! The staff led conversation at the tables too, so I got comfortable pretty fast.

The energy wasn't overly loud either — just the right level, so even if you're shy, you could join in without pressure.

A lot of people came solo, and the managers set the mood well, so honestly you don't need to worry about this part at all.

What's served at Jejugetto's first and second parties

Jejugetto's parties are split into a first round and a second round — I went to both, and both were satisfying. The biggest thing!! The food was really varied and good quality. It got demolished the moment it came out, it was that good.. ㅇㅁㅇ

Alcohol is supposed to be bought separately, but they gave out so much through drinking games and freebies — I basically drank almost for free.

The first party has griddle samgyeopsal (grilled pork belly) with tomato hangover pasta, spicy buldak dakgalbi (fire chicken ribs), jeyuk bokkeum (spicy stir-fried pork), rolled egg, and fried chicken skin.

The second party has jungle juice with chicken karaage, fries, nachos, and Budweiser.

The jungle juice was way more generous than I expected, so I could keep going through the second party with almost no extra charge.

The rooftop and fire pit zone after the party ends

After the party, the rooftop and outdoor area open up. They say the stars over Getto are their pride, and finishing off the night watching stars after the party felt genuinely romantic. When all the lights go off at 3am, apparently you can see them super clearly!!

There's a fire pit zone too, so everyone roasted marshmallows together, popped sparkling drinks, and it was fun switching between loud and chaotic and quietly chill.

Inside Jejugetto's 4-person dorm room

For a party guesthouse, Jejugetto's room condition was actually pretty good. Ever booked somewhere just for the parties and ended up disappointed by the room?!! That's exactly what happened to me before.

Honestly, ever since then I stopped expecting much from party guesthouse rooms, but Getto's room was really!!! good.

I stayed in a 4-person dorm, and each bed was divided by a partition, so you got your own space without it feeling cramped.

They also give 2 towels per person as standard. They advertised switching to 23cm-thick mattresses in every 4-person room, so I booked thinking oh..

And yeah, the bed was definitely soft haha. There was a blanket and even a hugging cushion, so I could fall asleep really cozily.

The bathroom had shampoo, treatment, body wash, toothpaste, and soap all provided, and it was kept spacious and clean, so there was zero discomfort.

There was also a hairdryer and a full-length mirror, which made getting ready in the morning easy.

Age group at the parties and rules to know before booking

The average age at Jejugetto's parties was around 28 when I went. Let me get to the age question first since I know people wonder.

There were only one or two people in their early 20s, so it wasn't a super young crowd. That said, guests in their 40s and up, and minors, aren't allowed. Also worth knowing: no food or alcohol allowed in the rooms.

Apparently 30 to 40 people usually show up even on weekdays?! And in fact, when I visited there were over 20 people there.

So you don't need to worry about it being empty just because it's a weekday.

There's also a shuttle. It runs from the Namwon or Uigwi transfer stops at 5–8pm and 11am, and they'll hold your luggage in advance, so it's convenient even if you don't have a car.

If you book a stay, there's a discount on the party fee, so keep that in mind.
