Euljiro vintage clothing shop: two tops for 51,200 won at Viva Trade

I first discovered Viva Trade Eulji Dundaun Dongdaemun Branch while doing summer vintage shopping in Dongmyo, and this time I went back to hunt for fall clothes. My goal was to find a hoodie and a sweatshirt, but there was so much more variety than last time — Polo vintage, leather jackets, and military clothing.

Since new clothes come in every day, browsing here is always fun. Unlike last time, they were also running a sale of up to 50% off. I took public transit, but if you drive, they offer free parking for 2 hours — just ask at checkout.

What vintage does Viva Trade in Euljiro stock?

Let's start the tour of Viva Trade Eulji Dundaun, a great spot for Dongmyo vintage shopping.

Polo vintage shirt 69,000 won, short-sleeve knit 35,000 won

There was a lot more Polo vintage than my last visit. The Polo shirts I saw were around 69,000 won, and I could get an extra 20% off on top of that. The condition of one shirt was decent enough that I set it aside and kept browsing.

The Polo short-sleeve knit was 35,000 won, with no stains and the fabric in good shape. It would've been perfect for summer, but since I was shopping for fall this time, I put it back down.

True to Dongmyo vintage form, there were leather jackets too, but I already have one I bought at the Dongmyo secondhand market this past spring, so I just looked.

Viva Trade Eulji Dundaun, a great spot for Dongdaemun shopping, had a few foreign customers too. Everything was well organized, making it comfortable to shop.

Kids' clothes, vintage fabrics and the knitwear corner

The lineup has improved a lot in just a few months. If you're into interior design, the vintage fabric section is worth checking out too.

I picked out a few knits that would be great to wear starting early fall.

There was also military clothing, and I picked it up and put it down a few times. This jumper is 159,000 won.

Turntables, 9,900-won LPs and vintage Apple gear

Wait, what is this? There was a turntable that wasn't there last time, so I listened to a London Boys track. Right next to it, LP records were being sold for 9,900 won each. Since I'd just visited an LP café in Seongsu, I got interested and browsed for a while.

There's more than just clothes — LPs and vintage trinkets too, so an hour flies by while browsing. There was even Apple vintage; I had an iPod in my twenties, and here one was going for about 500,000 won. I wish I'd held onto mine back then!

Hoodie and sweatshirt: 51,200 won with 20% off

I finally reached the hoodie and sweatshirt section I'd been searching for. Finding comfortable clothes for fall was the whole point of this vintage shopping trip.

The two pieces were originally 64,000 won total, but with the 20% discount I got them for 51,200 won. Since vintage clothes vary in condition and size piece by piece, it's best to try things on right away when you find something you like.

Visiting again after a few months, there was even more to see — not just clothing but LPs and vintage trinkets too. And this time, with the 20% discount, I was happy to get a hoodie and sweatshirt for 51,200 won.
