Songpa steak restaurant with beef tongue and 4 seasoned steaks: Sekaro
In short
Sekaro Steak Songpa Main Branch is a Japanese-style all-you-can-eat steak restaurant near Exit 6 of Ogeum Station in Songpa, Seoul. On the World Steak course, one order brought Korean beef premium tongue, tenderloin, striploin cap, flap meat and knuckle, followed by extra striploin cap and tenderloin and then 4 seasoned steaks: garlic-salt tongue, garlic mayo teriyaki striploin cap, soy-sauce emperor galbi and demi-glace sirloin. Because the chef grills each cut and carries it to the table, there is no need to watch the doneness, which makes Sekaro Steak an easy place to compare several cuts in one sitting.

I heard there was a place where you could eat all kinds of beef steak all-you-can-eat, so my boyfriend and I made the trip out to Songpa. When I think 'all-you-can-eat,' I usually picture serving yourself, but Sekaro is a Japanese-style steak restaurant where the chef cooks each order and brings it straight to your table. With everything from beef tongue to tenderloin to striploin cap on the menu, this place is worth checking out for anyone looking for all-you-can-eat steak in Songpa, just for the sheer variety.

Where is Sekaro Steak Songpa Main Branch, near Ogeum Station?
Sekaro Steak Songpa Main Branch is located near Exit 6 of Ogeum Station. We came all this way after hearing about the unlimited beef steak, and it turned out to be a place where you could enjoy a variety of dishes beyond just steak, so it was easy to fill up properly.

Sekaro Steak menu: all-you-can-eat, courses and sets
At Sekaro Songpa, you don't have to go all-you-can-eat — there are separate course and set menu options too. If you don't eat much, you can go with a set; if you want to try a bit of everything like we did, the all-you-can-eat course is the way to go.

Inside Sekaro Steak: bar counter and regular tables
The inside of Sekaro Songpa is split between a bar table where you can watch the cooking up close, and regular tables further inside. Even when we visited there were plenty of customers, so if you have a specific time in mind, I'd recommend booking ahead since it's a popular spot.

Baby chairs are ready too
Baby chairs were set up separately. It looked like a good spot not just for dates but for family meals with kids too, and there were also tables that could seat larger groups.

What the World Steak course includes
We went with the World Steak course. You can choose from 12 kinds of steak, 2 soups, 2 salads, 5 seasonal menu items, and 3 pasta and risotto dishes, plus unlimited drinks and beer on top of that. I liked that it wasn't just repeated meat — you could mix in other dishes along the way.

Checking the beef cuts before ordering
After we ordered, the owner brought out the meat prepared for the day and explained each cut himself. I assumed all-you-can-eat would mean limited cut options, but there was quite a variety, and being able to see the meat's condition firsthand got me excited from the very first order.

Yuzu ade and creamy draft beer
Before the meat arrived, they brought out a yuzu ade and a creamy draft beer each. Since drinks and beer are unlimited too, this is a great setup especially for those who like pairing beer with their steak.

Starting with Sekaro yukhoe (raw beef), sides set out in advance
For our first dish we ordered the Sekaro yukhoe (Korean-style beef tartare). It didn't come alone — it was served with crispy bugak (fried rice paper chips), giving it some nice texture, and it was a good light way to start before diving into the steak.

Before visiting, I'd read reviews raving about the mashed potatoes and tomato beef stew, so we ordered those right away. There were so many side dishes to pair between steaks that it was fun mixing and matching combinations.

Ordering beef tongue, tenderloin and three more cuts at once
We ordered all the cuts we were curious about at once — premium Korean beef tongue, tenderloin, striploin cap, flap meat, and knuckle. It was surprising that even tongue steak could be ordered unlimited, and getting to compare several cuts side by side in small portions was the biggest appeal of all-you-can-eat steak in Songpa.

The chef handles the doneness for you
The chef grills each steak according to the cut and brings it to the table. The meat we got was mostly medium-rare, and it was convenient not having to worry about grilling it ourselves — we just ate it as soon as it arrived.
Pasta and polpo partway through the meal
Since we liked the tomato beef stew, we also tried the bolognese pasta from the same family. When you keep eating meat, you start craving something else, and being able to order pasta and risotto alongside meant we could switch things up mid-meal.

Extra order: striploin cap
After trying several cuts, we added an extra order of striploin cap steak. We ordered two at a time and paired them generously with mashed potato — the combination worked really well.

Polpo (octopus and potato salad)
In between, we also ordered the pollo. It's a dish of octopus and potato served together, perfect for picking at between steaks, and with so many dishes to choose from besides meat, the table just kept getting fuller.

Two more servings of tenderloin
We liked the tenderloin so much we ordered 2 more servings. It came out at just the doneness I like, so it was easy to enjoy — and I liked being able to reorder a cut we loved rather than sticking to just one type the whole meal.

Ordering all 4 seasoned steaks
We were pretty full by this point, but the seasoned steaks were not to be skipped. We ordered the garlic salt tongue steak, garlic mayo deri striploin cap steak, soy sauce hwangje galbi steak, and demi-glace sirloin steak — each one felt totally different from the plain steaks. The seasoned ones pair well with rice too, and the table next to us was even eating theirs with rice.

Finishing with panna cotta
After stuffing ourselves with steak, pasta, and sides, we finished up with panna cotta. Ending on a sweet dessert rather than just meat made it feel like we'd properly completed a full course.

Who is Sekaro Steak Songpa Main Branch best for?
Sekaro is a great fit for people who want to try as much as they want of many different cuts — tongue, tenderloin, striploin cap and more — rather than sticking to just one or two types of steak. I especially liked that instead of serving yourself, the chef cooks and brings each order fresh, and with sides, pasta, and beer all available too, I'd recommend it for family meals or dates for anyone looking for all-you-can-eat steak in Songpa.
