After wandering around Metasequoia Road (메타프로방스), I wondered which café to go to and ended up at Frank Coffin Bar Damyang, right across the street. Since it's so close, it was nice to look around and grab a coffee — the café's atmosphere was prettier than I expected, and the bakery selection was diverse too, so it was a good spot to relax.

Wood-toned interior and outdoor tables
The first thing that caught my eye as soon as I walked in was the wood-toned atmosphere ...🤎

Wood elements were used throughout, giving the space a warm, cozy feel. Sunlight streamed in softly through the windows, and thanks to that light, the café felt even more inviting.

I personally love cafés with this kind of warm atmosphere, so it was right up my alley.

There were also outdoor tables set up outside the café. The building and its surroundings blended together so well that sitting outside felt a bit like being in Europe. On a nice day, sitting at the outdoor tables with a coffee would feel great!

There's another space further inside the café, so seating was more spacious than I expected. It seemed like a good spot to take a quick break while exploring Metasequoia Road, or to sit and chat leisurely.

What bread and desserts does Frank Coffin Bar sell?
Frank Coffin Bar Damyang is a place where you can enjoy bakery items along with coffee.

The breads were displayed in clean storage cases, so you just pick out whatever you want to eat. Having them in cases also gave the impression that hygiene was carefully considered.

There was quite a variety of desserts, from pastries to croissants and egg tarts, but since I visited in the evening, a lot of them were already sold out. Still, the ones that remained looked delicious, so I'd like to come back a bit earlier next time. There were also dessert options like croffles, so it would be a good place if you want coffee alongside something sweet. These days when you go to a café, it's rarely just about the coffee — you end up wanting good bread or dessert too, and this place had a nice range of bakery items.

Drink menu, from coffee to ades
The drinks ranged from basic coffee to lattes, tea, and ade. Even if coffee isn't your thing, there's tea and ade to choose from, so everyone can find something they like.

What we ordered: lemon sherbet ade

The Frank Coffee is the signature menu item — a cream latte-style coffee topped with soft cream, so if you like sweet, smooth coffee, this one's for you.

I was craving something refreshing, so I went with the lemon sherbet ade. With lemon sherbet piled on top, it looked refreshing before I even took a sip. The ade's fizzy tang combined with the lemon's brightness, and it paired well with the sweet bakery items too.

A good café to rest at after Meta Provence
This is a solid pick for anyone looking for a Damyang café, since you can enjoy bread and desserts along with your coffee. Its location right across from Metasequoia Road makes it super convenient to stop by after exploring, and the warm wood-toned atmosphere makes it a comfortable place to rest. If you're looking for a pretty café in Damyang, add Frank Coffin Bar Damyang to your list!! A great stop for enjoying coffee and bakery items in a nice atmosphere after visiting Metasequoia Road :)
