Suwon café near Ajou Univ for yuzu vanilla tea: Jo Hui-tak Coffee

In short

Jo Hui-tak Coffee is a handmade cake and sando (fruit sandwich) café a 3-minute walk from Ajou University in Suwon, Gyeonggi. On a repeat visit the writer ordered the usual peach yogurt cake with a first-time yuzu vanilla tea and studied for 2 hours at a tucked-away seat in the back. With one drink per person, iced Americanos come with free refills, so Jo Hui-tak Coffee is an easy pick for studying near Ajou University.

Today I want to recommend Jo Hui-tak Coffee, a café near Ajou University. Why!!! Because it's genuinely one of my absolute favorite cake shops.

At Jo Hui-tak Coffee the whipped cream isn't too sweet, the fruit is fresh, and the bread is soft,,, I sometimes order delivery from here too.

Jo Hui-tak Coffee specializes in desserts and sando (fruit sandwiches), and even though the desserts use fruit, the taste stays consistent every time. Let's get into the post!!!!

How to get to Jo Hui-tak Coffee from Ajou University

Inside Jo Hui-tak Coffee: are the seats good for studying?

The inside of Jo Hui-tak Coffee is really spacious. There's group seating (the biggest group seating I've ever seen at a café, honestly) and table seats that are great for studying.

I sat at the seat on the left in the photo, where I could study quietly. It felt kind of isolated, which was great for studying. I actually got 2 solid hours of hardcore studying done haha_haha.

+Is that why I passed my certification exam,,,?

How the peach yogurt cake and yuzu vanilla tea taste

I always order the same cake at Jo Hui-tak,,,? It's the peach yogurt cake! Genuinely sweet and tangy, and the cream and cake go so well together~_~

And this time I tried the yuzu vanilla for the first time! If you want a tea that's mellow but not too plain, give the yuzu vanilla a try~ I also neatly packed some to take home haha.

The gentle sweetness of the peach combined with the tangy yogurt for an overall refreshing taste.

The cream wasn't too sweet or heavy, and it was soft, so it was easy to eat without feeling guilty. The peach chunks you bite into every so often kept it moist while giving it a bright fruity kick~?

It's a clean-tasting cake that even people who aren't big fans of overly sweet cakes could probably enjoy!

Next time I'll set aside my usual loyalty for a bit and try the chocolate banana cake. I'll leave another review then!

(Writing this post is making me crave it all over again,,,;;)
